Preto - Carta

We went on a Thursday night so it was quite quiet which was lovely we had amazing service and the food was great. Are looking to go again soon.

Actually, one of the best places to go to colchester. since lunch with my friend hexe was probably the best decision we made this day! that was eating. my ghod, it was so good I'll probably go there more often. especially sagar (waiter) was very helpful and friendly and delivered an amazing experience!

my friend and I recently went to eat. it was delicious meat and a great friendly staff. we sat away from the rest of the customers and felt very isolated what was great. the workers wore masks and gloves while serving. consistent meat delivery and excellent sangria! highly recommended for a safe night outside.

that is really the dream of every man of a meal. a lot of meat, more meat and as much as they can eat meat! the flesh comes from a friendly waiter to her table, which prefers the flesh. crispy, juicy, rare or well roasted. the supplements are crispy chips (yep.. as much as they want) bean stew, salads for the ladies etc. all together a satisfactory meal. a man's meal! I have been to other preto restaurants and found that the value with them was much better. The Colchester restaurant do not offer as much choice as others with only a few options to choose from I don’t feel I got my moneys worth. The service was awful apart from taking our drinks order and payment we never saw anyone and was left alone. I wouldn’t recommend the Colchester preto.

Went with 2 friends, we had the all you can eat brazilian meat (ONLY 10.99£ a person). They brink different kind of meats on your table and you eat as much as you can! Value for money and very tasty good quality meat. Loses half star because the sides served with all you can eat were not up to their standard. They were cold (talking about hot dishes). Loses half star because the table we were allocated on (Booked) was not cleaned. We had to clean it with our own wet wipes. This should be unacceptable concerning we have a pandemic.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for someone like me with Coeliac Disease who needs to follow a strict gluten-free diet. The waitress quickly put my mind at ease by demonstrating her knowledge of cross-contamination and offering to cook me some chips in fresh oil to accompany the gluten-free options available at the salad bar. Most of the meats were gluten-free, with the exception of the sausage, lamb, and peppered steak (it's always a good idea to double-check in case I missed one). The servers made sure to inform us whether each meat was gluten-free before offering it to us. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent – I would definitely recommend this rest...
