Best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Fresh haddock in crispy batter with delicious mushy peas, tartare sauce and chunky triple fried chips. Sunday lunch amazing food very noisy very disappointed that dogs are in the restaurant the worst was the carpet was really stained and really put me off . We would come again but only to eat outside! Beautiful hidden gem with great atmosphere, good friendly service and a tasty Sunday roast. Couldn't have asked for anything more on a sunny Sunday late afternoon. As there weren 't too many other customers, we were largely left to chat, which was exactly what we wanted; the long-suffering waitress a paragon of patience as she returned half a dozen times to see if we 'd actually looked at the menu yet (let alone picked anything!
