"Situated on the High Street in Pately Bridge, this friendly traditional pub offers an excellent Carvery style Sunday lunch from 12.00 3.00pm. Delicious, home cooked food, comprising a choice of 3 roasts cooked to perfection and a great selection of about 9 veg, including less predictable offerings such as creamed leeks and red cabbage. The walls of the dining area are lined with dozens of Neil Simone prints, as well as another talented artist. It's worth going just to see those! As with many small businesses who suffer crippling charges imposed by the huge banking corps, cash is preferred if you can, so knowing that in advance will help you support them. Go. Eat. You won't regret it! You can always take a stroll along the beautiful river to walk it off!"

"Whilst it’s a pizzeria it has a mouthwatering specials menu. Sadly they are incapable of providing a basic service for their highly priced special dining along side turning out their pizzas To wait over an hour for cold starters and a further 30 mins for mains is tardy in the extreme Don’t complain if you expect an acknowledgment of their inadequate service never mind an apology as there is every chance you will told ‘as you’re not from around here you don’t know what to expect’! Tourist board will be over the moon!!! So pleased every where else we visited were polite and accommodating"

"The site is very dirty. The menu sounds really good but in reality its the same sauce no matter what you choose and flavourless, Have tried this place a few times to give it a fair crack and each time I am left disappointed and severely out of pocket as £30 for a takeaway for 2 is outrageous for this standard of food. So even though I love curries and this is the only one for miles I wont be going again."

"We arrived in Pateley Bridge too early to book into our accommodation. We had a wander around and stumbled across this delightful little restaurant. My husband had a small cooked breakfast whilst I had tea and toast. Ooh, and the latte was delicious with a lovely selection of home baked cakes and bakes. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value"

"As the Yorkshire would say ‘**** brilliant’. Never thought to come to write a review before but I saw one poor comment and felt the need to. My husband and I have always bought our children here for a bite to eat and a cake...or two, brilliant service, very child friendly, beautiful to look at and mouthwatering food. It’s our family tradition to drive to pateley, go to this bakery and walk down the river or have a play in the park, sunny or rainy weather. Ice cream lovely and not the bog standard flavours which I love, the staff seem to know everything about there products which is good as my daughter has many allergies. Definitely recommend and definitely going to keep coming here for years and years to come."
