"As a couple we have just enjoyed another special dining event atThe OakatKingshill. Consistently good cooking is enhanced by regular special events. This evening’s focus was a Caribbean evening. The menu included fried salt fish,curried crab, prawn gumbo, pork ribs curry goat, jerk chicken rice and peas and corn on the cob with optional extra sides and a choice from two desserts. Good service, nice food however, the wine at £21.50 was the same as the one sold in the off licence 30 yards away for £7.49 which left me feeling disappointed.

The food!! We went for a game tasting night and it was excellent. 6 different dishes. All cooked to perfection. An absolute gem hidden in the Cotswolds. Well worth the visit.

A really lovely pub and extremely friendly owners. The pubs really nicely done out inside and is clean and welcoming. We were staying in our van in the carpark which was great. Lovely walks near by. Ver carta

Delicious Sunday lunch. Excellent portion sizes, with good variety of veg. Several vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options. Very efficient and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a great value, excellently cooked Sunday lunch.

I can highly recommend the Oak at Kingshill if you want a really delicious meal, in lovely surroundings, served by really competent waiting staff who are very attentive. Twice I’ve eaten here and both times the food has been amazing. The first time was fish and last time was on steak night! We shared a delicious 20oz T Bone. The next time you’re wondering where to go for food, don’t hesitate to go to the Oak!
