In these post covid times it was so nice to eat out at a place where the staff were very pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening

4 days in windermere and tried different ripples, but most of them are not satisfying, this is the best I had. recommend carbonara, filet steak starter, garlic pudding and sticky fabric pudding. in any case will come back again: Ver carta

Fantastic restaurant, couldn’t recommend it enough! Had our first visit yesterday and was very pleased with the service, food and price. Very friendly and helpful service, they were very attentive and made us feel very at ease with our 12 month old being with us.

ten minutes after the opening and the whole place was full. we have managed to find a table for two, but it is better / safer to pre-book. the atmosphere was beautiful and cheerful, and that was some of the best we ever had. we were a little surprised to find such a big place in this corner of the world. every penny worth and would return definitiw for more of their authentic Italian food.

Absolutely appalling service. Food was nice but a young waiter wasn’t!! Commented on multiple occasions how much food we were getting? Doesn’t make any sense if we are paying for it!! Began to state how getting 2 pizzas for 2 people is too much and that they are “6 pieces each you know” AND?! This can be very damaging to someone who struggles with eating disorders. I think it is unacceptable when ordering food for a waiter to comment on how much your getting eating, why does it matter if you are paying for it? Very rude member of staff and bad atmosphere. Asked if I could get a pasta dish without spice and she preceded to say how it cannot be done and stating how I should get this instead or... Ver carta
