"Stayed here while visiting my family.Staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Rooms: The room was a twin which overlooked car park,it was quiet never heard any noise and it was close to main road.Very spacious and spotless,the bathroom was lovely and had free toiletries also in room was a coffee machine which worked perfectly,free tea,coffee ,sugar and milk a nice touch with little biscuits just what I needed after my long travels!! Nearby activities: Bus stop not far from hotel to go to Edinburgh or Portobello, bus also to to likes of North Berwick,Dunbar or Haddington close too! Food drinks: It was cocktail week while I was there with my grandaughter and they were nice.We had our breakfast in the morning and a great selection to choose from,the brioche bacon roll was to die for and was toasted also had the pancakes with compote and cream,best I have ever had.Vinnie who served us was lovely and very funny."

We were looking for a hotel to provide a tea after my mum's funeral and were pleased that they could accommodate us. The staff looked after us very well. Nice simple buffet with hot and cold food. The cream scones were popular. Everything was fresh and well presented. Hot drinks were included and the bar was available for those of us who wanted it with a good gin selection and draft beer. The reception room was a good size, private with big tables where we could spread out mum's old photos and still comfortably eat, drink and talk with family and her friends. Just remember to register your car if you use the car park.
