Absolutely shocking. Wasps everywhere, decor really shabby and untidy, maybe due to them closing down in a weeks time for refurb into a smokehouse pub Price per person: £60–70 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This pub is located in a fantastic spot and has the potential to be great, but the owners keep re-branding it as the newest Chips eatery. There are constant changes to the menu, with variations like chips with pizza or pizza with chips. It's unclear who the owners are trying to target, but customers are looking for more variety and innovation than just themed menus.

We made a reservation for 11 people to celebrate 2 birthdays. We were very impressed with the delicious food, attentive and friendly staff, and the fact that all our meals arrived at the table together. The portions were generous, the food was served hot, and everything was reasonably priced. We are grateful for such a wonderful experience and look forward to returning soon.

We visit the reservoir weekly and it is just more and more run down. Outdoor play area is basically just a mud field, wacky warehouse that opens and closes at times it feels like it and they are always understaffed with ridiculous wait times on food, which is mediocre at best! Rumour has it this will be transforming into a hickory's smokehouse and perhaps they just simply don't care anymore, it certainly feels that way. Price per person: £10–20

This place should be SHUT DOWN ASAP!!! I came here with my friends and family. The food wasn’t the best, The service was absolutely appalling as the staff were rude. The decor and the toilets was the worst. The toilets was slippery and I nearly fell over and damaged all my ligaments. I hope the managers could be reasonable and listened to all there feedback ASAP. I also went outside for fresh air and I could hear the kitchen staff or someone talking about the feedbacks from customers and slagging off people. GET THIS SORTED ASAP.

Thank goodness this pub has finally closed. I went with friends a week before it shut down, and I was shocked by the attitude of the elderly woman working behind the bar. She was rude and abrupt to the couple in front of me, charging them £3 for a glass of water with a dash of blackcurrant. To make matters worse, she poured me a pint of Guinness in a Carling glass, which was completely unacceptable. When I refused to accept it, a man behind the bar thankfully fetched a proper glass from the back. The woman clearly had no understanding of how to treat customers and was incompetent at her job. I am grateful that the pub has closed and that she is no longer there.

Closing in two weeks! It should close now!! The decor and facilities are extremely tired. The toilets dirty. The food tasted cheap and nasty and the red haired woman behind the bar was extremely rude! She made us feel so unwelcome and the way she spoke to my partner was awful. She just could not be bothered. Considering there were only two other people in the eating area at the time, she ignored us when we walked in. She then ignored my partner when he went up to the bar to order. We were about to leave when she acknowledged his presence and took his order. First and definitely the last visit. Let's hope the new pub with be better and the staff will know the value of politeness and good cust...
