Restaurant Altitude La Sitelle

It’s great value and great food on the side of the piste with stunning views of the mountains. What more could you ask for? Very friendly staff and good service.

I've been jumping past this place for years at the bottom of the snowpark in Mottaret and recently stopped there, which finds great food and service and good value!

Service was very friendly. Each one of us (3) was offered a sunhat to wear during our stay on the terrace. With our coffee we got a bottle of tap water without a fuss. Nice place to hang out. Ver carta

Quick stop for lunch, tasty freshly cooked food here, very large portions, sadly didn't have room for the good looking puddings. Have often skiied past here, but will make a point of calling again as it was all so nice in a charming rustic mountain...way.

This has a super large sun terrace. Food is a good value for the mountain. Nice friendly service. The best if you stay! Always busy here on a sunny day.!!! Best early 12pm or later 2pm. My choice is 12 o'clock. Sun goes down behing mountain about...3pm..so choose the wide side of the terrace.

Nice to be back in Meribel and visit all my favorite restaurants. Sitelle is one of them. Always friendly service, and the homemade soup is always my choice in the cold of winter. Remember this December was magnificent and the terrace was on... my visit. This is a good mountain value and ideal for suntans in the morning until late lunch. Ver carta

The sun shone. The staff was very friendly, fab mountain atmosphere. Lovely music too..was actually Radio Meribel..much better this year then it seems years ago. We had a super steak with chips salad with a bottle of their house red wine. 30e per person. The sun comes here early in the morning (big coffee at 10 o'clock) but early in December is best for an early lunch at 12 o'clock or so. Nice place. recommended.

Visited again in April 2018 and the sun was shining, the steak was perfectly cooked very tasty and a reasonable size. Service was friendly and it was a wonderful long lunch in beautiful surroundings. This used to be a self service restaurant and looking at...older reviews I think they had a few problems the first season with full waiter service. But in 2018 I found it great for a lunch in the sun. Well recommended but maybe reserve in the busy part of the season rather than just rack up.

This place has a great sun terrace and very friendly owners. Food is savoyard and quite simple but fine for the mountains. The steaks are ALWAYS good here and a nice vegetable soup for cold days too. Downstairs is now a fast food snack bar...for those on a budget or in a hurry. Great location on Sitelle piste. They do superb croissants too at 10am straight out of the oven !! Great with a home made hot chocolate with the sun shining right on the terrace from Mont Vallon. One of our favourite coffee stops in the morning. Ver carta
