We had the assiette Vaudoise to start and wild boar steaks for mains - both were excellent. Lovely rustic chalet setting with wood fire, friendly service and great food - recommended

Nice meals shared with Asian friends. In order to let them try different specialties they have been kind to split the plates. Food was very good, great service and very nice atmosphere for reasonable prices.

We were only one day hiking in Leysin, suddenly saw this restaurant with a very interesting menu. We ate very well, service was very quick and personable. The daily special was very well made and not expensive. Next time in Leysin we will definitely come by! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful atmosphere given assistance by the smell of the open wood-burning fire upon which steaks are prepared. The menu is extensive and consists of various traditional dishes of the region, along with a wider French cuisine. We had several courses, all of which were excellent, and service was provided by an amiable and helpful waitress. Probably the best restaurant in the village.

We visited this cosy restaurant last week, twice... We had the 'filet de boef au pinot noir' and my daughter fond it the best steak she ever had. Perfectly grilled on a open fire by the lady of the house. the red wine sauce was super. As dessert we had the baked pineapple with ice-cream and warm black pepper... one of the best desserts i have ever had. The whole experience was so good, we came back at the end of or holliday to eat the same. Ver carta

We ate lunch at Le Leysin and had a delicious lunch. We ordered the daily special menu which is 2 courses for 18chf (an amazing price in Switzerland). The starter was a Greek salad and the main was a delicious steak with potatoes and vegetables. The food was delicious and the service very prompt. The ambience was lovely.Recommend to come for the lunch special during weekdays as its the best deal. The rest of the menu is typical Swiss prices (expensive). The food is delicious!

We popped in for lunch with some friendsThere was one waitress, who didn't speak great English but tried very hard to understand exactly what we needed. She worked extremely hard and we didn't have to wait long for service, even though there were 20 of us Lunch was a salad for starter and steak frites. Everything was delicious!! The steak was perfectly cooked and the salad was beautiful and fresh The setting of the restuarant was lovely on a hot summers day and there is no better place to enjoy a nice cold beer and some delicious foodIf i go backj to Leysin i will go back for lunch here

Stopped here for dinner after finding several local restaurants closed (presumably for the Swiss National Day?). A burger with fries and side salad was 25 Euro. A kid's meal of cold ham slices and fries was 10 Euro. Both were tasty and probably on par for prices in Switzerland. Soda is more expensive than beer. If you are trying to keep to a budget, I would recommend any of the hotel dinner buffets that probably provide more value for money. This restaurant filled up and there was no outdoor seating left by 1830 at night - inside is very hot because the fire is on. It would be cozy in the winter but in the summer, try to get a seat outside. The staff does not speak English and the menu is no... Ver carta
