brighter, non-sensical place with interesting touches. eating is traditionally German, cooked for perfection and well presented. good choice of beer and wine, competent and experienced service. a true sound!

We accidentally saw this place, while searching for a place to have dinner. And this is was a right decision to stop by! Everything was perfect: the simple design, friendly and professional staff, tasty food, chilled atmosphere. The cuisine and drinks are just very good,...the price is quite affordable for the nice dinner : Definitely I'll come back! Ver carta

My experience is much like other reviewers. We stumbled onto Bass late in the afternoon. The lady took the time to explain the Gernan menu to us and, after we cleaned up at our nearby hotel, we came back for diner. It was spectacular....the food...is amazing and without a shadow of a doubt, the meal meal I’ve had in Berlin. The service was well beyond what I was expecting and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.

absolutely perfect “Hump Day” celebration! the atmosphere was very relaxing and anja made sure that we have everything we need when we need it. it was really refreshing to experience another German restaurant than simply carving and haxe that I...love for but. but some other classics from all over Germany. the court that lured us into the “Bass Kaus” labskaus, but everything else was absolutelyley also delicious. our favorite attizer was the matjes con salsa.

Been past Bass a few times in the past and finally went in on this year's trip to Berlin. It's a beautiful looking place on a beautiful street (and really easy to get to from the main drag of the Kudamm) and the food is...just outstanding; a mix of northern and southern German cuisine presented oh so beautifully. The service was wonderful and the owners took the time out to come and speak to us, and they were both absolutely lovely. We'll be coming back here every year for sure. Ver carta

Three of us ate here on a quiet sunday, it's a bright modern restaurant. The food was lovely, we had the pork with mustard sauce and sauerkraut which I found so tasty, my partner had coq au vin, different any we'd had before and excellent....Our daughter had salmon with a horseradish sauce again cooked to perfection and so very tasty. House wine selection was very good and not too expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant which made for a very enjoyable night.

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident as we were staying around 200 metres awayt and took a chance as we liked the look of the seasonal menu shown in the window. The food was delicious [though the main course of wild boar was perhaps...a bit too salty for our tastes] and nicely presented. We also had a delicious smoked fish starter and a hearty soup beforehand. The chef came out for a chat after the meal and explained that the dishes were linked to the two regions of Germany where he and his wife [who did the front of house and table service] came from. We enjoyed the experience of tasting some regional cuisine that did not rely on the all too familiar knuckles of pork and potato dumpli...

we visited bass restaurant on a week evening during our holiday to berlin. they could really feel the warmth and passion that the owners have put on this place from the first few minutes to the end of our meal. we decided to eat the 4...course season menu with seasonal feed and aromen. the dishes were honest, good eating with interesting aromas and the local wine pairings were a great compliment for eating. the service was warm and personal and showed real passion and proud of its craft during our visit. the prices were incredibly reasonable, fortunately we would have paid more for the quality of food and service! after a week in berlin bass restaurant became our absolute favorite and a rest...
