Our food, a fresh, homemade paella was absolutely delicious! Along with the lovely garden and the excellent service it was a perfect evening that we will certainly repeat! Best authentic Spanish restaurant in Zurich by far.

Great food, beautiful outside terrace. The inside is more of a traditional setting. Service was good, though the kitchen was a bit slow, guess it was due the fact that it was a busy day and we ordered 5 different dishes. Gonzalez is a bit on the pricier side. Not for everyday lunch. I went there with my spanish friend and we spent a fantastic evening with perfect service and delicious food.When we got the sepia served we looked at each other because we never had them served like this. What a surprise both of us couldn't believe how delicious and tender the sepia was. We never ever had such excellent sepia. This would be my recommention.

This is an authentic Spanish restaurant. You will feel as if you were in Spain. The food is excellent for Zurich standards, with some of the best seafood you will find in this city. It is pricey, and not as good as places closer to the sea, but still highly recommended. Try the Zarzuela. EDIT: visited again recently, and once again, the food was excellent. Seafood is of the highest standard service is impeccable.

First visit to the garden behind the building with the restaurant. Dining al fresco has its charms and it is less prone to excessive noise as experienced inside (because the place is always full). As reported in an earlier review the food is very good whether fish or meat and the desserts are so delicious that indulging even after a full meal is a must. The staff actually display some humour - a rarity in Switzerland - and the whole place has a familiarity to it that only establishments that are truly owner-run can boast of. We did not even miss the abundant flower arrangments in the restaurant, nor for that matter the beautiful candle display in winter when entering the place. Congratulatio... Ver carta
