"Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wenn auch an der Reception nicht alle gleich kompentent. Frühstücksbuffet wunderbar und auch die Küche am Abend fantastisch. Auch der Kuchen am Nachmittag ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite mit Halbpension im Februar. Für den Preis hätte ich ein wenig mehr Sauberkeit (Staub auf den Regalen) gewünscht. Das Putzperosnal ist jeden Morgen ins Zimmer geplatzt , obwohl wir es abbestellt hatten. Diese Möglichkeit ist übrigens super, wenn sie dann funktioniert. Sogar am Abreisetag sind sie um 10Uhr morgens reingekommen, obwohl check-out erst um 12Uhr. Die Badewanne im Zimmer ist mega. Leider gibt es keinerlei Badezusätze, was für mich komplett unverständlich ist. Hatten an der Reception gefragt. Haben uns im Laden selbst Badeschaum besorgt. Für etwas mehr Romantik wäre das schon zu erwarten. Die Saunalandschaft ist super und gut organisiert während Corona. Alles in allem, ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Wintermärchen"

"Wir sind sehr kritische Restaurantbesucher. Uns ist es sehr wichtig, dass der Service stimmt, das Essen frisch ist, die Preise angemessen sind und die Auswahl verhältnismässig. All dies wurde bei diesem Restaurant voll erreicht. Nach einer Wanderung von Kandersteg bis zum Oeschinensee, kehrten wir im Restaurant ein. Wir haben einen Salat bestellt sowie zwei Getränke. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Getränke waren in kaum einer Minute nach Bestellung bereits bei uns. Und dies an einem sonnigen Sonntag um die Mittagszeit mit ca. 75% Belegung!Das Essen kam in gefühlten 3-4 Minuten. Der Salat war sehr schön angerichtet und die Sauce war sehr gut! Keine fertigprodukte sondern alles frisch!Zum Dessert haben wir uns für ein Stück, hausgemachte Schoko-Quark-Torte entschieden. Diese Torte war ebenfalls hervorragend! Wir schätzen hausgemachtes Essen. Wenn dieses zudem in solch hoher Qualität wie auch geschwindigkeit kommt, bei solch gutem Service, dann gibt es von mir die höchtspunktzahl!Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!Kuchenstück war sehr gross und mit Sahne, dazu hausgemacht für 6.80Wir kommen garantiert wieder! Macht bitte weiter so!Das Hotel lädt übrigens auf einer Tafel zu "spontanübernachtungen mit gratiszahnbürste für 60.- CHF" ein. Ich sage, sehr charmant und hervorragend!Der Ausblick auf den See war übrigens auch sehr schön."

"Wir haben nach einer Wanderung ein Mittagessen auf der Sonnenterrasse des Berghaus mit Aussicht auf den Oeschinensee genossen. Bestellt haben wir haben einen Hirschburger im Brioche Brötchen mit Feta, Granatapfel und Preiselbeer-Zwiebelconfi sowie eine Rösti mit Spiegelei und Salat. Die Speisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren wirklich gross. Die zum Burger zusätzlich bestellte 1/2 Portion Pommes waren fast zu viel. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben unser Mittagessen genossen und waren sehr zufrieden."

"A must visit : Blausee Hotel Restaurant, Switzerland Note: This is my experience and review of my travel, the property and the restaurant itself. I went there for half a day trip. My travel to blausse started with a quick 20 minute train ride from Spiez (my starting point) to Frutigen followed by a 30 minute bus journey. The Blausee hotel property sits right in the midst of the beautiful Blausee lake surrounded by valley. In case you are not staying overnight, a small entry fee is charged which is reimbursed if you have a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. I entered the property around 4:30pm. I reached the place at 4:30pm. The place is stunning and has a beautiful view from the valley. This is the place to get tons of amazing photos for your Instagram. I didn 't realize it back then, but I easily spent a couple of hours there just sitting and admiring the place. They have these amazing wooden recliners where you can sit, chill and enjoy the beautiful nature! Now coming to the food review. I entered the restaurant exactly at my reservation time, 7:30pm. The restaurant is emaculate and classy. I was greeted by the staff beautifully. The servers are polite and take good care of you. Shoutout to David who was welcoming and made me comfortable right away! It is small things like these that make your day. I sat down and ordered some wine. I 'm not a wine connoisseur so I asked David to help me out and he didn 't disappoint. I started off with an excellent white wine with the appetizer and later switched to red wine for the main course. I had ordered Ravioli for appetizer. The ravioli was filled with smoked fish and came with sage, toasted pine nuts and cherry tomatoes on top. This was my first time having Ravioli and now the benchmark is set! The other raviolis that I eat in the future have to beat this one. The main course was kalbsgeschnetzeltes (sliced veal gravy) with veggies and rösti. I was told this is a traditional Swiss dish hence I went with this one. This dish blew my mind. It tasted out of the world! I thoroughly enjoyed the veal. It came with whipped cream on top which looked so pretty. The meat was cooked to perfection. Rösti was tasty and wholesome too. The whole maincourse would fill you up. The quantity was amazing. I didn 't have enough place in my tummy for a 3rd course so couldn 't try the dessert. I came out of the restaurant and the property as a delighted customer. I would highly recommend visiting this place for not just it 's beauty but also for the amazing food they have to offer."

You also get delicious deserts, again a small selection but you'll find something that will fit your desires. >Great terrace overlooking the lake, much less tourists than the Restaurant at lake level. This is a major plus point. >Our experience that reflects the Stars is the lack of flexibility you're used to being a cosmopolitan traveller. As an example they don't allow due to practical reasons adding tables to meet bigger groups. >Beeing fair, keep in mind and consider the fact that this is a family run Restaurant with long standing experience with limited staff. All in all a highlight!!!"
