Schiff - Carta

My colleague and I asked for a table for two, then one of them said that she didn't have time and there were still customers who didn't have any food, etc. Very unfriendly service and then didn't even ask if we wanted anything.

We were there to enjoy a drink on the terrace under cover. The atmosphere is very warm with comfortable sofas, candles and the fireplace. Our server Franco was super friendly and professional. The team is French-speaking. A nice place in Lucerne, I recommend

Spontan entschieden wir uns im Restaurant Schiff essen zu gehen. Wir bekamen sofort einen Tisch und wurden freundlich empfangen. Typische Schweizer Gerichte entdeckten wir in der Speisekarte. A restaurant in a prime location. We reserved a table for dinner and got a great spot by the water. The starters and main courses were very tasty. The whole thing was rounded off by our super sweet and courteous service employee Daria. Thank you for the great evening. Price and performance excellent!

I cant say much about the food coz we only had a little charcuterie for a little bite and drinks,but it is à nice spot for the reason to rest while visiting the area.We were nicely seated just near the water watching the swans and birds.They have an indoor dining area if you prefer so.Service is good and they also have english menus.

Das Restaurant im Hotel Schiff liegt wunderschön in Luzern, nahe des Sees, man kann auch direkt am See sitzen, auf dem schönen Balkon oder unter den Arkaden. Das Essen ist sehr gut, fein und nuanciert gewürzt und die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, auch für den Dackel gab es ungefragt Wasser.Die Desserts erfreuten sich in der Runde großer Beliebtheit. We loved this little spot for a warm meal on a cold rainy day! The other fondue spots weren't serving and we were directed here. It felt like we were eating in a lovely cozy cave! The fondue was very generous and delicious! The green salad was fantastic (I would love the dressing recipe and it was eaten in record time! The kiddos got chicken nuggets but didn't actually eat them, they ended up having fondue with us instead. We all left with full warm tummies!

Vorspeise 2xKressesüpchen, 2xBlattsalat beides lecker. Hauptspeisen: Luzerner Chügelipastetli, Schweinskotlett mit "Schiff-Frites". Obwohl die Pastetli wie es sich gehört haubenförmig waren überzeugte weder der Blätterteig noch die Füllung. Das Kotelett hatte ein Gewicht von 350 gr. Wenn man aber den Knochen und die üppige Fettumrandung abzieht ergibt das Netto-essbare Fleisch etwa die Hälfte. Die Qualität war jedoch sehr gut. Die Schiff-Frites - naja >ungeschälte Kartoffelin mächtige "Prügel" geschnitten, dann fritiert - wem's schmeckt?!? Der Service war aufmerksam und nett.

Germanish Swiss food. Comforting and hearty. Stop by the host to get a table outside. Someone tried to cut us and asked a waiter and the host didn’t give them our table but told them to wait for next table. I respect the order. We ordered the pork belly and also homemade meatball. I like the meatball better than the pork belly. Both dishes were solid though. The vegetable sides are usually root vegetables- carrots, turnips, etc. The mashed potato and gravy with the meatballs were delicious, salted just right. The spicy ginger drink was really good too. I was worried at first that it’d burn with too much spice but it was very well balanced. They’re a little overwhelmed despite a decent amount... Ver carta
