"I was here for lunch at the end of June and was incredibly disappointed! My friend I ordered the flatbread with prawn chilli but only the centre of the flatbread had the sauce on it leaving the rest very dry bare and five little pieces of prawn and no chilli whatsoever! As we were hungry we asked for more sauce ate it but when the waiter asked if we had enjoyed it we explained our disappointment my friend actually asked if they’d run out of prawns! No apology given, no offer of maybe a drink or dessert to compensate and when the bill came not even the coke was taken off! I mentioned that it would perhaps have been a good business move to have maybe done something to make up for the dry frankly tasteless flatbread and some money was then deducted but really I shouldn’t have had to ask! In the end the attitude of the staff annoyed us more than the bland food and for that reason we won’t be returning ……..handling a bad situation well professionally is vital to the success of a business…….communication is so important the odd smile wouldn’t go amiss either!"

"Although there are only 2 vegetarian/vegan options for mains, the vegan shepherds pie was amazing! It would be nice to see more choice especially on the daily specials for non meat eaters. Because of the lack of choice I would not make this restaurant a regular visit. They do have a nice starter selection. Desserts are fabulous. No one came to check on us after our mains were delivered. Bit of a mixed bag really."

"to eat for a drink, but not be back. in the future escort was too table. but then you had to climb up with all the others and wait for the table to get their warm food from the menu. but drinks, scones, traybakes. and why do they say the table number when I had to carry the tablet myself on the table? So that was the table service or not? While many people were behind the theke, it needed an eternality to get a group. Maybe because the hot eating was put in the microwave (I am not sure that I want to know why) or take it people to serve a person. when we finally served, we have a list of scenes, but with the time the guy went to lift them, the choice of my wife was gone. no idea how no one was before us, and it only took seconds to go back. the one cannon we got was in order, but every suggestion to be a top notch scoone for our vote in a contest was never happened. If I'm looking for dinner next time, I'll go on."

"My wife and I have been here three times and to be honest we enjoyed the food that we have had,my thoughts and reasoning for this review is that I feel it is very mean and petty to be charged 60p more because I have asked for extra satay sauce as I know from experience that the chips can be quite dry. I am aware that we are living in difficult times but I have to speak as I find."

"as an Italian who lives in ni, I can honestly say that this is the place to go and have a truly authentic pizza. the chef james is a master and very passionate about his ingredients and the various flavors. please, please, go, and order a piece of heaven, a few of the best deep fried gnocchi with the pesto-dip, and be adventurous, try the goat cheese and parma ham pizza or the wild mushrooms, spinat, rakete in. they will not be disappointed and they will definitely be very happy!"
