"This place is very plain and unassuming and to be honest I didn't expect much. Boy was I in for a surprise. I ordered the veal with roasted potatoes and while the veal was exceptional, thick, cooked exactly as per my request (medium rare) and melted like butter in my mouth the roast potatoes were something else. The last time I had roast potatoes that good was in my youth, when my grandmother used to roast potatoes in lard (before anyone had any clue about things like cholesterol). In the more than 3 decades since my grandma passed on, I've never tasted potatoes that came even close to hers, until now. The salad was also nice, but compared to those roast potatoes, who cares ?"

The portions were very generous and our server was extremely warm, kind and patient. I would definitely eat here again if I visit Frankfurt.

This restaurant was opposite our hotel so we popped in for something quick to eat since it was pretty late. Service was very good, very friendly and efficient waiter. Small menu featuring pizza and some schnitzel and fish. All pizzas, pasta and salads were only €4.99. 1 in our party had the pizza and he said it was good. None of us had any complaints about the food, if was pretty good for the price. Every time we passed by over the weekend the place was very busy.

We had reservations for Tigerpalast but wanted a reasonable place for dinner nearby. I read the reviews here about Roma and we decided to try it. When we arrived, we were seated quickly and given their menu. We both decided on salads and entrees of lasagna and salmon. I explained that we only had 45 minutes for dinner and the server took care of us. The two salads were enough for four people and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Both entrees were generous and equally delicious. It is refreshingly amazing that they can serve such quality and quantity of food for very low prices!

I've walked past this restaurant a few times before and never considered it. However, on this visit to Frankfurt, I needed to eat somewhere within a limited time, close to my hotel and chose here. Boy was I surprised and sorry I haven't been before. Although very busy, the waiter cleared a table quickly to seat us. It was close to the open kitchen area but wasn't intrusive in any way. I had a main course of chicken and my dining partner had lasagne, both of which were delicious, all served reasonably quickly considering how busy it was. White wine was very good and service friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced. I'll be back again.
