"General The Olympia is a typical district of Würzburg Grieche; many of the guests are regular customers from the immediate vicinity. We were there on Saturday night, because we wanted to have grilled meat and at the same time wanted to watch a part of the World Cup game (Brazilen Chile; we knew there were always football transfers in the conservatory on such occasions. This time there were even two video screens, on two opposite sides of the conservatory. This was just six when we arrived, partly filled, but there were several free tables. Operation The operation was very attentive; we got the menus right after the arrival. Even before the appetizer came the Ouzo, and we were asked several times by the waiter whether everything was fine and tasted, which we also affirmed. The ordered dishes were also quite flotted. The food We had grilled octopus (8, and Meefischli as an appetizer. The octopus, a stretchy portion, came with a salad set and with a fish eggs cream and was very juicy and tasted super. The Meefischli (4, according to my wife's information, were the best they've ever eaten (in person they were a bit too little seasoned, I would have wished for more salt, but not the classic (with head, but without and completely excluded). As a main dish we had two mixed plates (11 and 12 euros, respectively. That was the typical thing that was usually expected and received in Greeks. The Gyros were okay, the Souflaki could have been a bit more juicy, and the Kalamari, the usual panned and frit tubes, were okay, with not too much panade and by no means tough, but naturally falling off from the appetizer. The garlic potatoes that there was as a supplement were a bit too browned for my taste and had too little garlic on it, but were also okay. It is positive to note that for each dish there is still a small salad plate, with white and red, onions and peperoni. The Zaziki was good, you also tasted a little mint out. The portion size was still ok; without appetizer and with great hunger I would have been a bit disappointed by the one plate. The drinks were good; the open wine (red Naoussa and a dry rosé were well drinkable. The ambience of the early Olympics had only the large garden outside. For some time there has been a kind of tent, which can also be called a conservatory euphemistically, with a fixed roof and transparent film on the sides, depending on the weather also open at the front. This was quite pleasant during our visit, because the weather was somewhat unstable and you didn't want to sit under the open air. (There are also some tables outside the covered area, but nobody sat there. In winter, I would rather sit there, because much is smoked and because the plastic film does not seem comfortable. Inside we were not, even in previous visits; the impression it's okay there, but not especially atmospheric. The external installations are being redesigned; we have seen that the border is rebuilt with natural stones and many plants are being used there. Overall, a somewhat mixed, different impression, but this may be due to the fact that the reconstruction is still underway and that, of course, the football transmission gives a different impression than the normal mood there. We didn't notice anything. The tables were wiped, there were seat cushions. We haven't visited the toilets."
