here is a pizza and a pasta stopped. the personal is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the eating was good. overall a good experience

we have some food and drinks and found the service friendly and timely to be and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant and on the terrace.

The pizza was ok; the ravioli was in the same quality I would expect in supermarket with extremely basic. The wine for glass was basic wine (which is ok) but was overcharged.

Food: delicious. Service: great. They do not speak English but they know Italian. Pleasant atmospheare good beer and a variety of wines and italian foods to choose from. Flexible when it comes to payment methods. Reasonable prices.

I regret that I had no good experience here. there was only one waiter in the service, and despite very few males the service was slow and indifferent. eating was coarsely oversalted and not pleasant at all. I do not recommend this restaurant. fyi. it is not operated by the hotel.

We enjoyed a good Northern Italian dinner for two. Dominick (owner) gave us great service and adjusted our selections to our taste. He divided our courses in two and we enjoyed them all. First...classic beef carpaccio Second ...mixed greens vinegret Third... Pasta Bolognese baked with...Parma Reggianno Forth...Pork tenderloin with mushrooms and onions. A hearty red wine the house favorite) made for a memorable evening in Baden Baden.

We only ate here because it was a public holiday and nothing else but an Indian restaurant was open. I had Tortellini forma with bacon and mushroms topped with a ton of gluey Mozzarella which was served in a soupy bkand tomato-cream sauce. Once I...discarded the stringy glue I was left with something that should have been eaten with a spoon if the pasta had any consisteny or taste and wasn't store bought.My husband's ravioli were only marginally better. Located in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, right across from the Festspielhaus, the restaurant had changed management over the years. Never great shakes. But this time, it's different! This time, the Italian incarnation is a keeper. Cheerful, welcoming service, good food, unpretentious. We especially liked the...nice lamb shank, well-seasoned with juniper berries, and other lamb dishes, various fish specialties. Ask for their specials of the day. The salads were nicely put together, and you can put your own balsamico and olive oil in it, not over-sauced. Stay for an espresso, and even the good-old tiramisu will make you smile.

the unfortunate cache of restaurants like this is that they tend to feel that their situation offers them impunity against accountability for the general satisfaction of their clientele. directly opposite the playhouse and located on the ground floor of a hotel., this place could not be placed more comfortably.
