"We descended on the Ristorante Tricolore early one Sunday evening having parked in the large car park on the market square (free on Sunday evening). Nobody greeted us as we entered so we just grabbed the most attractive looking table for The young man...who came to serve us was friendly, seemingly nervous made a bit of a mess of understanding our drinks order. Was this down to his difficulties with the German language? We also had a little struggle to get our meal order understood. Having repeatedly explained a special request unfortunately he screwed it up and brought the wrong pasta for two of us when it came to the main meal. At least the threatened minute delay in correcting the error was much shorter so that we could more or less all eat together at the same time. The meal itself started with a nice array of a free antipasti and a basket of bread with garlic butter/cream. The two types of bruschetta we shared as a starter were a bit of a disappointment and came with a funny, old taste. We think that it came from the cheese. For the main course I had the special tortellini with asparagus. This was rather bland and the special sauce certainly needed pepping up in my opinion. Throughout the meal we were topped up with drinks the ladies managed to get through one litre of refreshing Lambrusco. I stayed with Radler shandy. The toilets are accessed down a very steep and narrow spiralling staircase how an older, infirm person would make it down them is beyond me. Certainly not for disabled guests. All in all, whilst the service was friendly and the two young waiters were polite, we can't say that this evening meal was a runaway success."

I don't know if I just chose the wrong dish, but thought my pasta with salmon was very average in a tomato sauce that exaggerated the taste of the laugh. service was great, atmosphere a little empty for a Friday night.

Not bad Reasonable price But nothing you go for to get a food experience Wine card only contain open wines. No bottles Food is German version of Italian food. Not real Italian But quality is OK. Not bad Service was good
