Enjoyable lunch of warm wraps of cod guojons served with chips and fresh well dressed salad. Lucy, the waitress was very polite and courteous.

Found this by accident, driving round during Summee but unfortunately due to them preparing for private function we couldn't eat there just had a quick drink. Finally found our way back. Glad we did. Lovely relaxed eve. Food fresh and tasty. Staff friendly. Will...definitely return.

came to visit the rose and krone on Wednesday and had the most amazing visit. the personal was so friendly that eating was amazing and the service was on the point even though it was so busy. since our last visit they have also made some renovations that are fantastic. we cannot wait to visit again!

hi I went to dinner with my wife, the service was excellent, the eating was great the atmosphere here is beautiful and they have made more renovations, so it looks great. I had a bark cake and the sticky toffee. that's the second time. I'm here recently and the standard is the same. we will come back to a visit.

6 of us visited yesterday for lunch and it was lovely afternoon. Service very good and food excellent. Some had the ribs/noodles and they said they were so nice. We booked this lovely pub for a Sunday lunch and so glad we did,we had a lovely table by the window next to a lovely cosy open We ordered a mixer of starters calamari was one and was all very delicious,our mains were all...Cooked to perfection, my husband had the ceaser salad and said it was delicious. We had a most relaxing afternoon and Can not fault a single thing,the staff are amazing and very friendly..

Cold, microwaved roast dinner. Potatoes and parsnips too hard to cut with a knife. Yorkshire pudding floppy and soggy from being reheated. Only one one meat left when went to order, it came out within 5 minutes as it clearly was a meal that went...“ding!”. They didn’t charge as we didn’t eat and we went to the black horse instead, amazing roasts there and highly recommend them! Would never go back to rose crown, real disappointment.

On a chilly January night we received at very warm welcome at the Rose Crown. This is a pub with good food, what you see is what you get. The kitchen partly on view is reassuring, no ready prepared meals here. Vegetables were fresh...and excellent potatoes and crispy chips. A roaring log fire was lovely to see, even though its heat did not penetrate to where we were sitting the comforting smell did. Service was excellent, as customers we felt very looked after. The premises has its own spacious car park, being on the bend of a lane parking would otherwise have been tricky. This was a good recommendation by some friends who had visited there recently and enjoyed it.
