Superb food, hospitality and atmosphere. A truly great pub which you would find incredibly difficult to beat. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Lovely home tasting food, Landlords went out of their way to accommodate our party of 20 ,we had eaten there before and will be going again. Thankyou Sean(Shaun) and Nigel.

Have had several Sunday Lunches here, and being one of those anooying gluten free veggie people, I cannot praise their service more. Always deliver a fab sunday lunch, whatever you are in the mood for!

Had table for two booked, then friends messaged to say they were passing and could they pop in. A quick call and R&C managed to fit the 4 of us (with 2 dogs) in. Good but relaxed service, great food...really enjoyed our eve.

needed a place to stay close to Bath bmx track and this was suggested. very warm and welcoming the staff are lovely and the right kind of attentive. The food was great value, tasty and huge portions, so much so we had no space for puddings!

The food was mediocre. The portion of calamari was disappointingly small and the bruschetta was overwhelmed by garlic and onion. The salmon special was also not good, with an excessive amount of pasta that was heavy and drowned in oil and garlic, making it an unenjoyable dish.

Very disappointed by the food. We both had steak and ale pie but it looked like a bought pie (Pukka), the meat was fairly tender but little of it and the gravy was jellified. We decided against having a pudding. Our neighbours were obviously regulars and sounded as though they were enjoying their food but we won't be coming again.

Beautifully decorated and furnished restaurant in an up market pub style. Nice welcome and good service during the evening. My wife loved her fish pie as did our two friends. I enjoyed the tasty meat pie, all meals accompanied by lovely vegetables in just the right quantity. Puddings were delicious, although rather more expensive than I am accustomed to. Overall a lovely experience.

I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch on October 23rd and it was fantastic. The attention to detail and chic, modern decor were top-notch. We ordered the roast, one beef and one chicken, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, the roast potatoes were great, and the fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese on the side allowed us to choose our own portion size. Everything was served on a hot plate, which is a rarity these days - a great attention to detail! The whole experience was wonderful, so much so that we are planning to return with friends this week. If you are in the area, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
