"Really lovely meal tonight, we struggled to get in anywhere else in town and thank god we did! This is one of the best food places in fowey, of the beaten track but this adds to it fresh, beautifully cooked with lots of choice. They accommodated a table of 8 at short notice and the service was great. Would happily recommend."

Bar staff we’re very friendly and helpful, the curry we had there was very tasteful. our dog in was aloud in and beer was good too.

Just returned from Sunday Lunch at The Safe, fabulous as always. Best chowder since San Fran, brilliant Sunday Roast and plenty of everything. Always a warm welcome, highly recommend if you are in Fowey.

Our first night out in Fowey after lockdown brought us to The Safe, which was our first choice. The social distancing measures were perfect and the staff did a fantastic job serving everyone. Well done, guys! We will definitely be returning regularly now.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, with the fish pie being probably the best I've ever had. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips as well. We had a pleasant conversation with the landlord and some of the locals, who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!
