My Beautiful Daughters booked this as a lovely treat ,what a terrible let down . Sticky ,stained tables The food was awful . Never again.

Lovely place, lovely food, wonderful service from Charli, who made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us! Bar staff all lovely too.. Will definitely be back ! Thank you

we are done sandy mount, which was eating amazing, my only problem was the portion sizes were so big I could not fit everything in. can not wait to go back. great value for money. beautiful, attentive staff. found that it is also doggie friendly, can it be better? Ver carta

After a disappointing precious visit a year or so ago, we decided to give the place another go. We were not disappointed this time. The place was warm and cosy and the service from Charley was excellent! The food was great too. Dogs are welcome and snacks are provided.

Mothers Day 10/3/24 Five adults, two mothers, one was 92 years old. We booked the Special Afternoon Tea at £25 a head. What a terrible mistake that was!!!! We waited 30 mins for the tea. Then we had a wooden tray each of beige items. Two pieces of onion quiche sat between dry sponge and an even dryer scone, no butter, jam or cream !! Then 5 fish cakes

This is our second visit to the island and one of the reasons we return is the quality of food and service it surpasses other places in uk we have visited. We have just had dinner at the sandy mount house and thought it the best place we have eaten so far in terms of service and quality of food on the menu. Will definitely look to return before we leave the island . Ver carta

Lovely meal yesterday for mums birthday. Staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. Food was awesome…I had poussin. Mum is a vegetarian who doesn’t like spicy food and often struggles to find something she likes. Good choice for veggies and can mix and match between starters and sides but also have a vegan menu on request which had a good choice. Dog friendly area in the bar which is a lovely space. Would definitely recommend

We stayed at the Sandy Mount House for 1 night 2 days. This hotel was the nicest in terms of staff members, decor, interior, and food. We could not fault this place. We took our dog with us and she stayed in the room with us. The beach was a 2/3 minute walk away. We had breakfast included in our booking price (again we could not fault the breakfast) Full English came out on a hot plate and tasted beautiful. We had a ‘pre room service breakfast’ (part of the booking too) which was delivered to our door before we then went down for our main breakfast! Amazing…. We are about to book to stay again and we have shared with lots of family and friends who want to now stay too…

SMH has benefits, its pretty. There are too many tables filling the bar, you can 't circulate and meet various friends. I always ignore the dreadful Wait here to be seated table at the door. Why have one, the main bar is a pub. Staff need proper training, many don 't have a clue, you can wait half an hour for drinks that are sitting waiting on the hatch. We have been many times, summer and winter. The food can occasionally be outstanding and other times awful. It is really hit and miss. Prices are rather high. Dogs are encouraged but many owners overdo it with several dogs at busy night times. I 'm sure the dogs hate it. If it had great food and much better trained staff it could be brillian... Ver carta
