Amazing location at the Shambles, brilliant starters and desserts, however we were slightly let down by the mains but the lovely staff took care of that.

The cannibal pizza, boscaiola pasta, and shark risotto were all delicious and were served quite quickly. The service was excellent as well! We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Italian restaurant with the delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Based in the heart of the Shambles in York is a must stop. We had breakfast there and all was delicious. Best espresso coffee I ever had in England .

The best Italian restaurant in York! The food is cooked and served to perfection. The staff is incredibly friendly and happy. I would definitely recommend it to both locals and tourists. A must-visit to enjoy Sardinian dishes and taste their drinks!

The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. However, the food and cleanliness could use some improvement. I've tried the linguine several times, but unfortunately, the sauce tends to be a bit watery. The dishes could use more flavor as well. We booked a table for breakfast at short notice, they had no issues accomodating us. From the outset, we were made to feel very welcome and the setting was very comfortable too. I ordered a caprese focaccia and asked for bacon to be added. The service was quick and the food was excellent. I was really pleased with the coffee too, the breakfast like a little taste of Italy with a British twist. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and look forward to trying the evening menu when we next visit

Some might say the prices are on the higher side, but I believe the quality justifies it. Here, you can truly experience the flavors of Italian Sardinia right in York. I will definitely return, and I wish I could give more than five stars!

I visited this restaurant last night after making a reservation and had been looking forward to it for a while. We received the menus but, unfortunately, we were left waiting a long time before anyone came to take our drink orders. When the waiter finally arrived to take our food order, I was disappointed to find that 2-3 items on the menu were unavailable because the restaurant didn't have the necessary ingredients. I found that quite odd. Additionally, there was a group of 8-10 men at another table who were swearing a lot, which detracted from the atmosphere, especially since there were couples and women trying to enjoy their meals. For these reasons, I felt compelled to leave this review.... Ver carta
