"This is a traditional Frankonian restaurant. Good for couples, families, and guys night out (there is a separate room). When you think of a romanticized Bavaria, you see families sitting around a wooden table; there are chairs and benches and cushions to make the wooden...furniture more comfortable. You see a matronly figure who can hug you in one arm and carry three liters of beer in the other. You see meals of pork, venison, fish, and foul cooked the same way they were make for generations. All of that is what you see in the Schwarzer Bock. Breakfast is a combination of traditional German and American style omelettes. The fruit is a limited selection due to only fresh fruits being offered. The meat will taste different than in America, also due to its freshness. Try the Frankonian specialties, you cannot get them in other parts of Germany."

Nice hotel off the main plaza, but downtown. The restaurant specializes in regional and seasonal fare like pfifferlinge and game. Worth it.

Dined here one evening in late September. The food was absolutely wonderful. Generous portions, local atmosphere, and priced right. We loved the Schwarzer Bock! Ver carta

I would definitely recommend ordering the traditional Schäufele, it’s delicious. Service is kind and prompt (they also speak English which is a great plus). The place itself feels cozy and very authentic. One of my favorites in Ansbach.

Tremendous little place serving good, honest, 'stick to your ribs ' Bavarian country food for very reasonable prices in a rustic, but not too touristy, environment. Service was excellent. I would go back here again and again. Beware, though, the kitchen closes very early.

I was in the hotel and had breakfast and also an evening meal here. I had the privilege of having recommended my host, so he struck a court with rabbits (I don't know the actual name, I'm sorry! I recommend the cheese soup. we had. a great dinner in a really comfortable, beautiful, quiet restaurant with great food. completely recommended.

interesting building, nice friendly staff who were very helpful. the breakfast was very good with many options. the room was very warm, but the window saw a very narrow street. fan was provided and it would be unfair to expect air conditioning due to the age and...delay of the building. would be happy to stay back, only not if it was 29 celsius. the prices are very reasonable and I have heard that the meals are very good.

"I had hardly complained a few days ago that in our environment there is hardly any chance to get to know the Iranian cuisine closer, we landed in the kasparhaus. we had actually been looking for our lunch in ansbach, because not only vegetarian, but also vegans should come to their cost there (my daughter does not wear milk protein). that the restaurant has been operated by the Moheran family madani for 10 years, we did not know yet. the still mysterious finder after 200 years had spent the last years of his short life in ansbach and has since developed into a veritable city mast. the restaurant that bears its name (and its probably listed falsifications above the door, is located in the very beautiful old town and looks like it was not founded long after the house. but as soon as they enter through the door they enter into another world: from the namenpatron no trace, but a colorful, lively mix of orient and okzident, here juvenile-styled, as a hundred-aque, all selected and compiled with a safe taste. there is no boring while waiting for food (which does not take too long, even if it is full. also the most profane way to the toilet leads here through a sloppy courtyard, which is safe in summer and serves only for smoking. to the toilet. . Through the yard it was about half, and the locals were propping. as by a miracle, there was still a free table where we found six hungry men's place. after the overwhelming first impression we were of course extremely tense, which would come to us, especially because we did not consider the elegant damm of the house, where exactly their geographic and culinary roots were rooted. also the card led first cross and over the continental. Italian antipasti, hummus with pita, bunteste salate, omeletten, burritos, pasta, pizza, all with meat and, in actually also great selection, vegetarian and vegan. the common saffron rice and a court called quchani let us know that it would go towards iran. which was then confirmed by the chefin, who also liked to ask our curious questions. as always with such a large selection it was easy and difficult to find something at the same time suitable. the two little ones were quickly satisfied with a part of bratkartoffeln (3,50 € and a child pizza (6,50 €). hummus with pita for the big there was a portion hummus (6,50 € antipasti and a vegan and a nonvegan antipasti plate (8,50 or €9,50, each hot and cold combined, with plentiful saffron yellow fladenbrot. we were almost tired, but variant almost fortunate. burger in the sleepy rock, as we do not know what a quchani was, we have ordered two, as quchani burger (12.90 €. so we found out that it was a dish in the sleepy rock, invented by the creative chef that had just baptized my inner quvince from which he was (ying you don't have to live I only tried them the day when we destroyed the rest, it didn't make them more exciting. burrito da was the vegan Tofu-Gemüseburrito already more varied (12,90 € ), also a day later. kunst am lachs and my wife were finally very happy with their salmon in creamy tomato sauce, which was naturally served with saffron rice and the same good salad (14.50 €, on the monthly card. the fish is not dry and as if it was reflected in the sauce. I also noticed this on the photo, and the sose so abundant and serene that I was allowed to blow some of it away from my wife, although I was tired for a long time. white choc caramel at the conclusion divided the two sweet-skins of the family (father and son still a sinful milkshake, where I could look without jealous. in me was just a place for an excellent espresso that was served quite stylish with a glass water. kaspar house is certainly not a restaurant in which one is introduced into the secrets of the Persian cuisine, but in any case a place where one can feel comfortable thanks to the eating, the environment and warm care of the chefin. the prices are also extremely socially compatible. we are very happy that we were pushed through coincidence on this little gem."
