We had a lovely experience here , all the dishes were so flavoursome interesting , Nikki our waitress was great informative , such a lovely cosy place and very relaxed we will definitely be back and recommend

Overpriced for a rather lacklustre menu, not at all exciting or even very tasty. The service was very slow with one girl trying to serve the whole restaurant and getting things mixed up. We have eaten here before successfully but fear this will be our last visit

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant on a chilly September evening. We opted for the tasting menu and the wine pairings were all delicious. The menu featured a variety of local ingredients and was presented in a creative manner. Each course was exceptional.

Just wow! A beautiful simple setting where the food speaks for itself. Service was excellent and the young lady knew about each dish and wine served. The food is well deserving of a michelan star, some exquisite local ingredients treated with love and respect . Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

OMG, this place is amazing! I was a little nervous about not knowing the menu beforehand, but we ended up loving almost everything we tried. Make sure to book a table well in advance, as there are only 8 tables available. I highly recommend trying the wine flight as well, as all the pairings were perfect. Be prepared to spend about 3 hours there, as the tasting menu consists of 7 courses and the portions are quite generous.

We ate at Scorrybreac on a Saturday night in September and it was wonderful. It is a limited menu, but it was delicious. I had the panko fried scallops (yum , my friend had the butternut squash soup and my husband had the salmon. We all loved our selections, however, after viewing the seafood platter that two tables near us ordered (incredible! , we wished we had ordered that. Lovely staff and reasonable prices! Definitely recommend!

Scorrybreac is a revelation. We have often wished to go and finally got a table. The service was lovely and the food a crescendo of flavours. I never imagined getting excited about bread! The caraway and fennel was amazing by the way. A perfect menu- the lamb being exceptional and venison so delicious. I got to thank the chef Calum and the whole team have made it a night and experience to be remembered for its style, flavour and ambiance. Did I mention the wine?…we will return.

Rated in the Michelin Guide, the tasting menu is excellent, great value for money and worthy of one of their coveted stars. (Overall, it was as good as some 1 star places if not better than a particular Welsh 2 star place I 've visited in the past). The food is not 'run of the mill '; every course was well presented and inventive. For me the standout dishes were the flashadder lamb, the hake and the venison; some lovely flavours and great presentation. Scorrybreac is not a place for a budget meal, but it is the perfect spot for an exceptional fine dining experience. We opted for the tasting menu, which is the only option available, but they are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice. One of us also chose the wine pairing, in addition to a couple of rare whiskys, resulting in a bill of around £330. I know, it's pricey, but the quality of the food was outstanding, sourced from local suppliers, and the attention to detail was impeccable.
