We had the antipasto, Pistaschio pasta and fried provolone with ratatouille and all was really good. The hotel restaurant was recommended by one of the locals as we got off in Randazzo from the Circumetnea train around Mt Etna. Perfect day!

Breve soggiorno, due notti. Accoglienza unica dei gestori. Ci hanno fatto sentire in famiglia soprattutto con nostro figlio. Camera ampia e pulita, con frigo, TV, cassaforte e asciugacapelli. i was there for lunch. the restaurans is not small but not easy to see after a gas station. i was the first customer at about 1 pm. i ordered a mixed meat and cheese plate as starter and grilled pork as main. starter plate is delicious but small. i cannot forget the taste of salami (with pepper and fennel seed). after that grilled meat was just perfect. i paid 20 eur with quarter liter of red wine and coffee. so, a beatiful lunch for a reasonable price. thanks to scrivano.

Un ristorante in cui sentirsi a casa. La proprietaria è molto accogliente e disponibile ad accontentare i clienti: la porzione di polpettone ci è sembrata piccola e ne ha subito portata un'altra, senza chiederne il pagamento. Cucina casareccia di buona qualità, così come il vino della casa: un Etna rosso veramente apprezzabile. Il locale è spartano, ma la buona cucina e la disponibilità di posti anche la domenica lo rendono piacevole. Buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Parking: Ampio parcheggio nel piazzale antistante.

The restaurant is adjacent to a small family-run hotel which bears the same name. It is recipient of a number of prestigious awards, evidenced by the many stickers affixed on the glass door, and that alone already says a lot. Although we were presented with an a la carte menu, we left the choice to the chef, but specifically asked for typical Sicilian cuisine for an antipasto. We were not disappointed! Both the chosen primo piatto and the main course that followed were cooked to perfection. The accompanying house wine was equally good. Selection of dessert was rather limited.
