"After trying most chippies in the area including the expensive one near Hove station which is so hipstery even the fish have beards, we discovered the Sea Horse. And what a find. The batter they use on their fish and sausages is so cripsy, and thick. They serve you super quickly and they are extremely good value. In the hipster place near the station a large cod is £8 at the Seahorse it's £5 and I much prefer it! If you're reading reviews looking for a good chippy then give the sea horse a go you won't be disappointed. Top tip: I always collect to ensure freshness, and always ask for no salt and vinegar on the fish and crucially ask for the fish to be wrapped separately!"

The Seahorse is always a great bet for Fish and Chips. Always tastes fresh, clean oil and batter, and great value for money for a meal. Good sized portions too.

Me and my dad have been coming for years. The best in Brighton ! If you can find a friendlier and a better quality of both fish chips for value for money then goodluck!

Have been coming here for several years and always make the effort even though I have several others nearer my house. Always has perfect hand cut chips! I no longer eat fish but they have great pea and pineapple fritters!

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips I have tasted in a long time. I now order them every Thursday because the food is great and they have good hours. I have no complaints at all, the food is fantastic. I always stop by before going to the club.

I have been a regular customer at Seahorse for years, but I must say that the quality has significantly declined recently. The fish and chips, which were usually the best around, have been disappointing the last few times I've ordered. The chips are small and the batter on the fish and sausages is hard, while the sausages themselves are soggy. It seems like they are always rushed, so I would recommend hiring extra staff and improving your quality. I am very disappointed with my recent experiences.
