"We arrived close to closing time, but the staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The vegan dishes were fantastic! We tried the vegan feta and falafel wrap, which was incredibly flavorful, and the side salad was fresh and crunchy. Everything was well-seasoned and delicious—not just an afterthought to appease the vegans! I would love to return and sample the vegan homity pie or the non-fish chips! And don’t worry—if you're a meat lover, there are plenty of options available for you too! The vegetarian options are also impressive, offering really good choices that are far from being bland and tasteless."

"I booked 6 months ago to go here, ready for when we visited our holiday. it was worth waiting. the personal was friendly and the eating delicious. Although the menu was not large compared to other restaurants, the dishes were still diverse enough. we went for the £35 there cure menu was ideal and the wine was delicious. we loved the pâté and found the size of the dishes exactly the right amount. a great evening and will recommend to friends and beyond!"

"we came by chance about this caffe when we were looking for somewhere to have tee and received a very warm welcome. there are a series of inventive and interesting meals on the menu including Sunday vegan roast, moussaka, vegan treacle tart with caramelized apples, sausage and maic with tweebel engraving and fresh veg, roasted sandwiches and jack carrots with vegan fillings. we will visit again to try some of them, as we had only tea and cake at this opportunity. if a visit is worth in sidmouth."

"On our visit there were 2 vegan options and 3 veggie options on the main menu which change regularly. On the main menu for vegans was a Moroccan tagine or mushroom and Guinness pie. For dessert, an apple pie or hot chocolate fudge cake with vegan ice cream. Had the mushroom pie and chocolate cake which were delicious. Ordered some bar snacks beforehand and the member of staff was really helpful in checking which crisps/nuts were vegan. Dog friendly in garden and bar area."

"Friday 18th March we were in Sidmouth and popped in here for a coffee. We ordered two Flat Whites, which were £2.90 each. Our order was taken and prepared by Adam, an efficient and helpful member of staff. We sat at a table in the area with a mish mash of wood panelling of the former Pub, The Old Ship. There is a brass plaque on the front of the building to remind visitors of its former use. We enjoyed our coffees and our visit here, very good coffee with friendly service."
