"I ordered some sushi and noodles for the evening dinner with my family. Since we normally order from Osaka we decided to give another restaurant a go and never again. The rolls were fine (rice was ok, good hosomaki, remaking soft but we didn’t...expect the seaweed to stay crispy since we order delivery, alright uramaki with avo and salmon on top however the sashimi on top of the roll was very thick and in places hard to chew which is okay, can’t blame the salmon). My vegan temakis were right next to the salmon roll, in one box, even though they could have been put with the other vege maki... Overall rolls were fine. However the noodles were an atrocity... the noodles we received were simply not edible, mashed up in a tiny container, looked like someone had to sit on them in order for them to close, prawns on top of the noodles were super soft and wet since they were on the noodles and not in a separate container. The noodles themselves were falling apart with the slightest touch, as if they were cooked for way too long, I could count maybe three pieces of veg in the dish, overall- a disaster... but the best part starts when deliveroo connected me to the restaurant I was basically told to stop lying, that what I say isn’t true and they won’t do anything about the fact that the noodles are straight up disgusting because no one ever complains about their food and the chef and the boss agree to send another order of noodles if I pay for them because otherwise it’s sending food for free. Our conversation lasted for 18 minutes during which I was called a liar, I was told to stop, I was told that there can’t be anything wrong with the food and that noodles were perfect they were perfectly jammed into a tiny box and flavourless mush instead of noodles... After 18 minutes very unhappily the man I spoke with agreed to refund the money for the noodles, apologised after calling me pretty much an idiot to his boss as they shouted back and forth without muting the mic so I could hear everything loud and clear. Would not recommend the take away service."

The food is always so fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff is also very friendly.

The food was not so tasty compared to the prices. Food took time to prepare and not to our taste. We did not try sushi so can't comment on it We did try Noodles.

Rare to find an authentic Japanese restaurant in this vicinity. was pleasasantly surprised with the small but cosy place, great tasting food at great prices. Highly recommended.

Driven past many a time and decided to pop in, all I can say is the food is delicious and fresh! Very polite staff, place is spotless and shamelessly have been getting a ramen noodle bowl about once a week since my first visit !...I’ve told all my friends about this place, it’s amazing! Ver carta

Great sushi/Japanese restaurant in a secluded area. This is my go to takeaway but decided to eat in with a friend and didn’t regret it, as well as the quality of food being amazing it had a real authentic vibe to it and the small...set up really works and gives it an edge on all the large chain sushi restaurants.

The service was first class and staff really friendly. The menu has a lot to offer and a range of dishes that you won't find anywhere else. The only negative I could comment on is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the bathroom. It's great to see the chef preparing your food but couldn't help the lack of care in cleaning the food prep area. other than the A

Stopped by Sen Sushi to pick up a takeaway for lunch. It’s a lovely little restaurant and very well set up. Tatami area and high stalls in the front then a chef bar in the back, so you can see the food being prepared. Very...tasty and authentic food which is hard to find in the UK. The sushi had so much flavour unlike the plastic shop bought sushi. Very nice service and warm welcome I will be back to eat in next time! Ver carta

This little place is perfect if you're looking for something different and not your boring chain restaurants. Friendly and happy staff always happy to see us. The food is fresh and so nicely presented. Different bowls and very cute cat plates to eat your food...from. Very different and authentic. Just what you need. Parking isn't too bad, parking outside and lots in the area 1-2 min walk. I do think this place is a hidden gem.

We live locally and had never noticed it! Found it online and what a result! Wanted something different for takeaway...kids don't like Indian; local Chinese has gone downhill...I read another review about difficulty with ordering on the phone..bear with them how good is...your Japanese? They don't seem to have got a website organised...but the food is excellent and large portions for the price. Hope when the pandemic is finally over! to be able to eat in looks so cute!
