"Been to Dyffryn Arms many times and enjoyed the experience. Tonight really disappointed the bill for four people came to almost £100. The staff were friendly that’s the positives. The negatives are that I ordered ribeye steak. I asked if I could have an extra tomato to replace the mushroom which I dislike. The waitress very politely told me she didn’t think the kitchen would allow my request. (They didn’t at a cost of £23 I don’t think giving a tomato would affect their profit margin. No jacket potatoes . Steak was quite gristly. Dessert no choice I had a brownie last visit was good tonight seemed dry . At almost £7 didn’t know that as no price on the board that they brought to the table. If we had thought to ask wouldn’t have ordered . Also tables very close together. Expected better as we had praised the Dyffryn to our friends."

"Foods gone down hill 3 of us ordered steak all burnt. Very disappointing when I told the staff they told me it was char grilled. Never have I had a steak like that there they have always been fine and not burnt or char grilled. Waiter then cleared the table and didn’t offer us any desserts or any more drinks. It’s like they wanted up gone as we spoke up about the food being burnt. Then I see the chef come out if the kitchen with a pint no wonder the food was brunt he was half cut cooking it. Avoid."

"Stopped off for a quick curry at Cardamon last night and had a great meal. The restaurant is located in a small village where there is parking nearby. There was three of us that needed a quick bite on route to a local business and the curry was amazing. I had a garlic Chilly Chicken dish and my Colleagues both had Lamb Vindaloos. All of the curry’s were spot on and the sundries were equally as good. The prices and service were both good. I recommend stopping off here if you are passing through. Great choice. "We had dinner at the new Pod last night, and I must say, the experience from beginning to end surpassed our expectations. The interior of the pod is beautifully designed, and it’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered. "Hubby and I had a lovely meal on our recent visit to Tamarind. I had my usual Special Biriani which was lush. It could do with a bit more sauce though. My husband had his usual Lamb Sagwala with Paella rice. I couldn’t fault the food at all. While we were there there was a large group of about 12 diners mixed company with half a dozen children. The children had made a mess on the floor Chips, rice etc. My problem was that the mess wasn’t cleaned up before the next diners came in. Staff cleared the tablecloths and put out napkins and cutlery, but why on earth didn’t they brush up the mess from under the table. It’s because I was looking at the carpet that I noticed how absolutely filthy it is. If I was the owner I’d remove the carpet and have laminated flooring put down which is much easier to keep clean."
