"My husband and I had the most amazing meal at Burnt truffle. We started with the fish soup and then shared the aged sirloin which came with peppercorn sauce, the best Parmesan chips I have ever tasted and delicious carrots. We ordered a side of broccoli too which was cooked to perfection. We finished with a chessboard and the honeycomb ice cream. Every element of the meal was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. I am not a great meat eater but the sirloin was delicious. I have not tasted food as good. The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. There was a new manager who ensured our evening went to plan, he checked in on us and was really a pleasure to speak to. I could not recommend this place highly enough. We will be back! Thank you Burnt Truffle. It was a great all round experience."

"I wrote a fab review after a great takeaway in August. We had another in September. It was not good, Monday evening order. Not always the best day of the week to order. We didn 't want to negatively review just one of those things. Ordered last night. 2 Poppadoms with a sad few slices of wet lettuce, one slice of cucumber, one eighth of a tomato, no onion. We had to chop our own. Onion bahjis were a no show. Phoned that they 'd been missed, we had no starter. We 'll refund you ? Oh, thanks!!! That really does complete the meal experience. Main curry dish was OK, but lacking, severely lacking in taste or care. Sorry, we 've given you two chances after a great experience we 'll buy elsewhere."

"My friend and I visited Silk Road tonight. We were greeted by Etty and shown our seats. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We were given menus and were spoilt for choice. We choose 7 dishes and each one was full of flavour and piping hot. The Mediterranean Sea bass and nasi goreng were my favourite. Tom also came and spoke to us. The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The drinks were well priced and the deals were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable night with delicious food in a restaurant that had a lovely ambience. Would definitely recommend and will return."

"We were a large group but the service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The drinks were also affordable. We had a wonderful time. Overall, we would give a rating of 5 for service, food, and atmosphere. Some recommended dishes include Garlic Mushrooms, Kalamari Garides Skaras Maridaki, Spanakotiropitakia Manitaria, and Gemista Dolmades. The price per person for dinner was between £30-40."

"The restaurant had a lively atmosphere on a Friday night, but there were still plenty of available tables for walk-ins. Despite the crowd, we were seated quickly and our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly. The food was amazing, with seasonal updates offering a variety of new options. We enjoyed dishes like boar and chicken terrine, beef shin, and the best tiramisu I've ever had. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to ensure my friend with a nut allergy had a safe meal. Parking was convenient, with a large car park next to the pub and disabled parking right by the entrance. Although finding a spot can be challenging on busy days, we had no trouble on a Friday night."
