"We were thrilled. In early August we spent a nice short holiday in the area. After two days in the Europapark, we wanted to come to one of the locals last night and land on the recommendation of our Riegler Stammhaus hotel. We were warmly welcomed and found a place in the beer garden. We were immediately helped with the linguistic barrier of some local terms. We felt comfortable and the owner and our waitress were very loving. The whole thing was excavated by an excellent meal. The bottle soup was unique and we still talk about it. Why a preliminary soup makes so much impression?! You have to eat them to understand. Tastefully on all levels only a pleasure. The cabbage routines were also a mess. Here you will find really good German cuisine with a lot of love you taste. If we're back in the area, we'll be over. The evening was wonderful in your house and we thank you again for this (if it wasn't clear yet, great food, nice conversations and well-being atmosphere was! A warm greeting from the WDR4Land;"

"Das Essen schmeckt natürlich sehr gut. Aber wir haben sehr lange auf Essen und Trinken gewartet. Zudem sind die Preissprünge in der Karte etwas zu groß, es ist insgesamt etwas zu teuer. Man isst in vergleichbaren Restaurants in der Regel etwas preisgünstiger. 37€ für eine kleine Portion Rehragout mit Spätzle ist etwas zu viel. Wie gesagt, es schmeckt sehr gut, Der Service ist freundlich. Ergänzung nach Antwort des Betreibers: Bewertungen hier sind sujektiv. Ich habe ja nicht die Qualität des Essens in Frage gestellt. Mir ging es um die teils großen Preisspünge in der Karte. Der Burger, mit hoffentlich auch regionalem Rindfleisch, kostet zwischen 17 und 19 Euro, macht satt, und ist geschmacklich hervorragend. Das Rehragout ist eine kleine Portion, macht bedingt satt, scheckt auch super und kostet mindestens das Doppelte. Das ist für den Gast schwer nachvollziehbar. Aus Gastsicht muss ich einfach sagen, dass ich bei solchen Preisen natürlich schon eine besondere Performance erwarte. Die war von den Wartezeiten und einigen hier nicht erwähnten Details her, einfach tatsächlich nur durchschnittlich. Wenn es mir gefühlt etwas zu teuer ist, dann ist das einfach mein persönlicher Eindruck. Damit muss der Betreiber leben. Ich werde auch wieder kommen, aber vor allem zum Burger essen."

"Nach dem Frankreich-Urlaub haben wir Halt gemacht mit dem Wohnmobil in Kenzingen. Wir sind in die Stadt gelaufen und beim Hotel-Restaurant Beller gefragt ob sie zwei Plätze für uns haben und Sie hatten welche. Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung empfangen und betreut. Wir bekamen ein tolles dunkles Weizen und super gebratene Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat (darauf hatten wir Heißhunger nach Frankreich). Das Fleisch sehr zart, Pommes und Salat sehr lecker. Und immer war die freundliche Bedienung um uns bemüht. Dieses Lokal kann ich guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen. Wenn ich wieder hier bin komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder."

"Today we served as menu 1 of the daily ticket beef Roulade with vegetables and potato puree, with a side salad and a dessert. The Roulade was well roasted and cooked to the point that had vegetables, as usual, bite and the potato puree was just fantastic. All in all, an all-round lunch menu and the price of € 13,50, simply unbeatable. No wonder you are well advised to book a table."
