When I walked in on a weekday, I was sort of surprised to find this place as busy as it was. A (friendly) waitress told me there was no table available for me. A man (seemingly the owner, though not sure) overheard this from a distance and pointed out to the waitress that I could be seated in a back-section of the restaurant, that was apparently reserved for invited guests and the owner’s family. I had the house made Frikandellen-Jager option with fries, and was not disappointed. Nothing sophisticated, but nice food for a fair price. Waiting staff (and the apparent owner) were friendly, although I was obviously a tourist in a restaurant that seems to be frequented mostly by locals. Would sur...
