"we have been there for years, but it has just noticed me writing a review of this unfair restaurant that has consistently produced a good value. the menu is short, divided between locally sourced ingredients and classic offered the swedan kitchen (like the Entrecote...with roasted wobble.) the focus on regional oriented guarantees fresh but also competence; these people focus on what they do well. it is nice to know that it provides a foreseeable good food and pantry. the decor is modern but not cold; the personal very friendly. the wine list offers interesting local weine and some foreign options."

What a pleasant surprise to find this gem not 500 meters from my front door! Enjoyed a nice cellar pilsner along with Lauchcreme suppe. Main course was a lite dinner of schafscamembert mit Preiselbeeren! Wunderbar!

Went to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendations on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Lovely place and the food was fantastic. Glad we read the reviews as had a great meal and lovely wine!!! Best to book a table in advance.

Went with my Family to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent! The owner personally made sure we were well taken care of and she did not disappoint. Will definitely go back every time we are in Stuttgart!

Their philosophy is to get everything from around Stuttgart. We went there for lunch and had a herb salad with slices of Beef and lentils and a pork-steak with mushroom-sauce and spätzle. Both very good and out of the lunch menu for each about 10€,...very reasonable.

Really enjoyed our visit to Speisekammer West. The food (a ravioli-style dish) was awwesome, filling and fairly-priced (especially when you consider that you could easily spend 8.50 euros near the square for a small plate of curry-wurst and fries, whereas for less than 12 euros...you can get authentic German fare. The only negative was that she overcharged us on our bill and when we asked her about it, she said that it was the correct price; she eventually fixed the receipt correctly however.

I've been here twice now. All the way from Dallas and I will come here again the next time I am anywhere near Germany. The food is outstanding; prepared thoughtfully and with love. The owner is diligent and artful in bringing the best of the best from local farms. She takes great pride in ensuring your dining experience is delightful and intimate. Come here to relax, enjoy a good conversation with those you love, and savor life. Whether you are local or a tourist, this restaurant is worth it.

This is my favourite Regional restaurant in Stuttgart. We arranged a family event last week, with relatives and friends from around Europe, so it was crucial to get an excellent regional restaurant. We ordered for all trout and lentils salad as first starter,m, then a...consomme' and as main medallions of pork fillet in goat chees crust superb. Everything was really light fresh (including the fish) and well prepared and we matched the first starter with a great German Riesling, their high end choice. Excellent service and very caring mgnt. Reservation for dinner required.

"Wow. Simply Awesome! Best dining experience my wife and I have had in several years, probably top all time, and we are real foodie snobs. They squeezed us in with only a couple hours notice. We got the course menu paired with wine....Little did we know that six courses in metric means First came the amouse bouse, a frothy chicken soup plus a croquette topped with dried mushrooms. Paired with wine of course. Then came a home made freshly baked baguette that was crazy delicious served with a dish of sour cream and chives as well as butter with pumpkin seeds. The bread was so good it could have been its own course, and the sour cream was the first of many unusual com I nations, but it worked. Next was a salad a combination of beet root, cabbage, Thai coconut milk and lemon grass. I hate beets and I loved this dish. Next wa the first actual course, duck liver pate and brioche with figs and wine sauce. Amazing! Now how about some slow cooked trout (which strongly resembled salmon) with tangerines and celery root. Then some white cod with Jerusalem artichokes and hazel nuts. Then, to cleanse the palate a glass of deer broth served in a glass like a brandy snifter. We're only halfway through. Now it's a slab of deer meat cooked like a tender steak, served with a cannelloni stuffed with deer and all set over mashed parsley root that could have passed as mashed potatoes. All garnished with an amazing deer gravy/sauce. Next comes some mont d'or cheese served with house made fruit bread, oranges, and rutabaga. Crazy com o but it was delicious. Now for dessert courses. Red wine sorbet. Think you're done? Next comes white chocolate ice cream serve with quince (purée, cubes, and foam) served with a chestnut parfait. Now we're stuffed, but time for another dessert: creme brulee paired with a chocolate brownie and a serving of mango mousse. Crazy good."
