Very nice restaurant, with a nice mix of specialities from Engadine as a starter and deliciously cooked meat dishes. Details oriented: nice presentations, refined dishes with local specialties served with different sort of salts spices, including as well lots of sorts of bread.

Cool restaurant with wooden furniture like a typical mountain hut. The food is creative and tastes great! Specialty is the meat cooked at 800 degrees in the Beefer. Service is great and always available to explain and advise. Arianna is the best : During a sunny day do check out the terrace: the best in town!

We went to this restaurant because they were having some traditional music performed on our evening. The place is beautiful. A terrific salad bar from which you can order mini, mid or large plate. Or you can go all you can eat. My wife enjoyed it. I started with one of the best pumpkin soups I had ever had. For my main dish I ordered venison strips (very tender! in a sauce, with red cabbage and spaetzle. Yummy! My wife had a steak that she loved. Even with just a couple of glasses of wine this was not a cheap dinner. Also, they have an English menu but little-to-no English was spoken by the waitstaff.

The restaurant is part of the Sporthotel. According to the restaurant’s name you might be inclined to believe that it is a simple restaurant serving food that is low key with the kitchen locally inspired. But it is not. The restaurant is very charming with great ambience. Staff is very friendly, helpful, patient and diligent. The menue offers both local and international cuisine, and the dinner experience we had was beyond words. We started with Oysters from the French Atlantic and they were very fresh, delicious and perfectly served. As for the main course we had the “Engadiner Schnitzel”, the “Wildspinat Tortelli” and “Rahmschnitzel” for the kid. For dessert, we went for Rahm Glacé (Bündne...
