"We’ve received a good recommendation from our friends about the breakfast meal at this place and decided to enjoy our breakfast at this place as well. We were impressed with nice interior and great concept of a history for four generations behind, Nina Mark -Hauser and Nik Hauser. We appreciated a lot an effort of the team to safe the planet, for example it was cool to see daily energy system solar panels performance. That morning we were served by the waitress Sara. We ordered Alp Rührei (2 organic eggs, cheese and slices of meat) and scramble eggs with ham. In 5 min the waitress brought to us our breakfast. Instead of 2 organic eggs it was scramble with herbs and instead of scramble it was omelet with ham. We doublecheck our order with the waitress Sara, she replied to us in offensive way that organic eggs are served in this dish only as scramble what really surprised us, but she forced to admit that I ordered scramble and not omelette. It was a great challenge to ask for the receipt. A couple next table to us could not stand and came to cash desk. The same scenario was for us. Our waitress pretend we’re not seen and in the same way was talking to the colleague and then start for preparing a plate for customers. But were were totally shocked with unbelievable unsanitary! She was cutting bread, taking cheese and meet with hands without gloves and 100% she didn’t wash hands after taking money for the customers before. Nowadays this put safety of this place under the question. Unfortunately, with great concept and history one employee can bring your business and reputation down. Don’t recommend this place for breakfast at least."

"My husband wanted to come here for the “pressed duck” as he loves gourmet experiences. We were astonished with this restaurant. A stubli for us, is a typical alpine restaurant, with the wood paneling, cozy banquets and usually good local food. The setting was all that and more, with candles, fresh flowers and comfortable, uncrowded sitting. On the table was an array of hand made crustini, that was like a “flower arrangement,” so artfully set up and tempting to eat (and delicious to boot). The service was attentive, and welcoming. Anytime the server changed silverware, added another glass, or plate, they wore black gloves to make sure their hands did not touch the item. Very impressive. We shared a mixed salad, (not on the menu) but dressed and divided by the server. The salad was just beautifully arranged. We had the pressed duck, which was prepared at the table. They served one breast first (with lots of vegetables and accompanying food, and took the second one to the kitchen to keep warm and plate once we were done with the first one. Again, service was amazing and the duck was equally impressive. Beside our order, we received two amuse bouche and at the end of the meal a box of sweets. Upon leaving the restaurant we received a small treat to take with us. This is definitely a destination restaurant. They have a couple of pre-fixe menus, or a la carte. You will not be hungry when you leave, and while it is expensive, it is worth it. This was one of the best meals we’ve had. Recommend this highly. Definitely a winner."
