Spring River - Carta

I came a few years ago and the experience at that time was not the best. very much improved was eating nice and the service was very good. the children love the climbing frame. beautiful dishes were the coated mushrooms, flower flowers wings, mozzarella melted, the carvery was very good

Food was very good and hot, The customer service was fair, staff were friendly. The restaurant have facilities for children which my son enjoyed. However the toilets could be cleaned more regularly as they were dirty when we came and when we left and we was there for a few hours. The restaurant also has a lovely outdoor area where you can sit, along with a small play area with a climbing frame for kids to expend their energy after a great meal. The whole space feels safe, allowing you to keep an eye on the children from inside or outside. It’s a warm, family-friendly place to bring your loved ones for a quick bite and some drinks.

The restaurant has a great location with plenty of parking available. We received a warm welcome from the staff, and the cozy atmosphere was perfect for the chilly, gloomy weather outside. Have been to spring River many times sometime with work team and sometimes with family or friends always friendly and polite staff and food is always very good and so much variety to choose from and special lunch menus always really good for my special occasions i always prefer to come to spring River to have a relaxing time and good food Vegetarian options: Vegetarian roast options Price per person: £90–100 Ver carta

The food is good for the price, and the staff is attentive. However, it’s unfortunate that they allow seating underneath a large TV, which causes people to accidentally bump their heads on it. Additionally, the TV's glare bothers those sitting on the opposite side of the table. It seems they are trying to fit in as many seats as possible. During our stay at the Spring River Ebbsfleet Inn, we dined at the pub several times. The atmosphere felt like a cozy, corner pub. There was a wide selection of drinks available. I had delicious meals, including my first Yorkshire pudding, and we shared a heavenly sticky toffee pudding. All the staff were friendly and hardworking. Our waitress, Debs, was exceptional; she was friendly and efficient. She took the time to explain some of the dishes to us Americans and frequently checked in on us despite the busy dining room.

Oh dear! This place seems unable to deal with a sizable group booking. There's an issue with a shortage of staff. Waiting times were long as there was only one waitress delivering food and another serving drinks. The carvery option had three types of meat, the beef was good but regular portions could have been more generous. The accompanying vegetables were of the usual variety of leathery roast potatoes and bland frozen veg. It was hard to enjoy a meal here, if you can afford to go somewhere better, that would be advisable. Ver carta
