Friendly staff, comfortable environment, good food. What more does a person need!

Lovely meal, we did get put in a table that help but we were so just asked to move and was fine

Lovely place albeit a little out of the way . Sunday lunch and dessert tasty but not exceptional although we did eat the lot..will definitely return. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Food fabulous. Only niggle my wife and I (both women) arrived at table before our friends and were asked by the staff member are we waiting for two gentlemen to join you in this year thus level of heterocentric assumption is very disappointing

Lovely cosy pub, which is beautifully decorated. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The Sunday lunch was average, we did enjoy it, but we’ve had better elsewhere and at a lower cost. Overall however we had a pleasant experience. Ver carta

Really nice food and atmosphere, would highly recommend this restaurant Inn with rooms, dog friendly, great selection of drinks. Rooms are large and airy, very quiet and well decorated, bathrooms are large and well equipped Stayed on the run up to Christmas, great atmosphere and a pleasure to return to

It’s a lovely place and the staff are always friendly but the choice of vegetarian food is appalling....either Thai green curry (which is amazing) or a veggie burger, which was as dry as sticks and flavourless. They don’t seem to change the menu very often, which is a shame. It is dog friendly which is a real bonus. They often have good live bands on.

Overall it was a nice meal and waiting staff were pleasant. It was quiet when we arrived and I think the music was mainly in the bar area so we felt like we had to talk really quietly to not disturb the table next to us which seemed quiet close. We've been here a few times and it's always been nice. Can't really fault it. It's a nice restaurant and the food was nice but not outstanding. I think it's more somewhere to go again for lunch rather than a special evening meal. Ver carta
