It was a nice afternoon in Cuxhaven. After visiting the ball beacon we came across this restaurant on Dyke. The place was busy and offers seating outside. We decided to sit outside and enjoy a little lunch and beer. After a few minutes, a waitress explained in an unpleasant tone that her colleague was responsible for our table. The Krabben (tiny shrimp soup was perfectly seasoned with a good depth of flavor and my wife's sesame crusted goat cheese was very good, although we think it was actually cream cheese. We both had different fish dishes that was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Mine had skin on that was so crispy and delicate I thought it was a batter. I could dispense with the balsamic drizzle in favor of something a little more modern, perhaps a pesto oil around the lip, but that is being pretty particular.
