"we arrived at 29.5.22 at 11.30 am hotel, as with the bus of berlin. we were not at the reception I found incomprehensible, as we had not booked a hostel or hostel, but a 5* hotel. we had to ask, despite several questions, whether another room is willing to wait until 15.30 for our classsik room, the hotel was perhaps 50% booked and any other one coming after us could immediately refer to his room. description of the room: right next to us the sender, among us a compost stack, right on the balcony a wall. the room had no socket (after the complaining we got an extension cable,) a nightstand lamp not burned, which had bed sheets and undefined stains despite washing. in the bathroom gave neither cosmetic towels nor shower hood. the next day we moved immediately after the breakfast, our rooms were always made during the breakfast. I had traveled with back pain, the dirty matrateze made my pain worse. at the reception I asked for a doctor is in wüstrow, how do I get there with the bus? no answer. is there a taxi? from ribnitz, costs 35 Euro drive, by ahrenshoop? is bad to reach! I ordered a taxi. I think the reception should be the visit card of the hotel. a letter to the manager remained unanswered. never again!"

"During a recent visit to Ahrenshoop we ended with lunch in this restaurant. To start a positive note: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, the menu was quite expensive, but given the location that we thought it was worth trying. When the food arrived, the plates looked more like a cost-effective restaurant. Fish portion was tiny and what was advertised as a potato salad was actually an undecided mixture of pure with bits in it, and very gooey and therefore off-putting. Second disappointment was the refusal of access to the WIFI-Inernet connection, which was reserved only for guests of the hotel. I found it more common because WiFi comes at a certain price, whether it is used in the restaurant or in the hotel. In view of the prices on the menu, I would also have welcomed the access to Wi-Fi for the guests. Our party came to the same conclusion, this restaurant will not see us again as restaurants. Some at our party were local and frequent visitors in Ahrenshoop."

"Wir waren zum Essen in der Schifferwiege und können deshalb zu den Zimmern nichts sagen. Der Restaurantbesuch war von der telefonischen Reservierung, über den Service und dem Essen wirklich sehr gut. Wir sind mit einem Kleinkind dagewesen und hatten, wie gewünscht, einen Platz am Rand. Es wurde zuerst geguckt, dass die kleine versorgt ist, was uns auch sehr gut gefallen hat. Auch die Empfehlungen der Servicekraft hat gut gepasst. Alles war wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Gegessen haben wir die Scholle und das Zanderfilet mit Safransauce. Letzteres war besonders gut. Das ein Restaurant in der heutigen Zeit jedoch nur Bargeld oder EC- Karte akzeptiert (worauf im übrigen nicht hingewiesen wird), ist für mich vollkommen unverständlich und auch unmöglich! Ende vom Restaurantbesuch war, dass ich noch zur Bank gehen musste, die glücklicherweise fussläufig schnell erreichbar ist, um Frau und Kind „auszulösen“."

"The Restaurant zum Strandläufer is located directly on the village street in Ahrenshoop opposite the Kunst-Kate. There are around 30 seats in the restaurant and a beautiful outdoor terrace with another around 30 seats. The map is small and clear. There are four fish dishes and four meat dishes, some starters and desserts. A small menu promises fresh and handmade dishes ala card. We had the catfish fillet and the cod. And what can I say? The catfish fillet grilled on a lava stone with sesame butter, bok choy, carrots and mango bulgur was really excellent. Conclusion: The sandpiper is definitely worth a visit. Nice, friendly and unobtrusive service. Fast service. Rarely eaten so well. We'll definitely be back."

"the service was nice. we had pizza. (2x) that was not very delicious. I personally know more delicious frozen pizzas. vll the nudes are better, I can't judge it, but for pizza I wouldn't come here anymore. the chocolate soufflé was very tasty, could have been even more liquid in the middle for my feeling. the bruschetta was delicious. V.a was the top very good."
