fantastic eating, the personal was beautiful and attentive, we had the 3 curs lunchtime and (as a lot of not eat quality) we are filled after that! it is really a fantastic device! highly recommended!

The food was exceptional, and the staff was wonderful. The quality of the dishes was the best I've experienced in a long time. The atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful as well. I definitely plan to return.

I had a wonderful night at the Sugarboat during their Wine Tasting event, which paired delicious food with exquisite wines. The atmosphere, food, wine, staff, and conversations with fellow guests all contributed to a fantastic evening. It was a brilliant experience, and I would definitely go back!

For anyone considering rating this place slightly below five stars, seriously think again! The service was fantastic, and the food was exceptional. We tried the grilled bavette steak and the bouillabaisse for our main courses, followed by the delightful chocolate mousse and clafoutis for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went for the beer and food matching night and couldn’t stay away. Today we went for lunch, and after a warm welcome from the owner we were treated to the most AMAZING food. All the staff were wonderful, and the decor is beautiful! We are so, so lucky to have this restaurant in Helensburgh try the mackerel, it is my absolute favourite!! Ver carta

I absolutely loved this place! Our host, Will, was fantastic. We started with some cocktails at the bar before settling in for a wonderful dinner. The interior design is cozy and inviting, and I’m thrilled that the beautiful bar area is genuinely dog-friendly—only gorgeous dogs allowed, of course! We’ve definitely found our new local spot!

in the presentation of an extensive gift voucher to pay our bill, our benefactor has lost a lot of money because our voucher has not been used in full scope and the renaming was not allowed to be used as a drinking money. the manager could not explain where the outstanding balance went. my advice, they don't buy a gift voucher for the sugar boat and I doubt if I returned to this establishment. Although the food and service was excellent, the customer service needs an enormous improvement. e. j. doherty

I have now eaten at the sugar boat to many places and was never disappointed by the performance or exceptional quality and presentation of food. for the first time I went to this occasion to an organized master cocktails class with 8 other friends. we were shown how to make 4 cocktails and then make them themselves and then drink! what a super night. something else to do with friends. great fun, more so with any cocktail you have to say! many thanks to all on the sugar boat for great cocktails and great fun.
