Although both of us ended with sore stomachs during the night and not sure whether from the food or the red wine. Restaurant was empty for a Saturday evening. We were only 4 guests the entire evening. Our table was on the terrace but throughout our time there, we could hear a buzzing sound coming from the WC area which was a disturbance. It was coming from a mounted box on the wall next to the WC (some kind of emergency box). Service was quick. Would we go back there, NO."

A good Indian restaurant. Generally, but not always, well prepared and tasty. We quite enjoy the Shrimps Aarchi and Chicken Sultani. Unfortunately the quality is not always the same and as expected. Dommage.

We had dinner at the Sultan last night with a gift certificate called 'Smartbox ' and I was intrigued as to what the quality was going to be having read mainly good reviews but also one or a couple poor ones. The food was first class and the service was also excellent; the waiter was very polite , able and professional. During our dinner we saw a constant stream of couriers for delivering take out orders so we can only conclude that the occasional negative reviews were from grumpy customers who are apt to complain no matter how good the food is. We will return and recommend this restaurant to our friends.
