Lovely Sunday lunch very tasty I had the beef which was very nice. A few more veg required would be my only criticism. And the pear crumble was delicious.

Beautiful little village pub with some absolutely amazing food. The pie was delicious! All the staff were wonderful and friendly, we can't wait to go back.

beautiful local pub. beautiful selection at ales and the renter seemed friendly. offer to my pint up, the brilliantly cast anyway. I was on the airbnb over the street and came to the pub a few times. I wish I lived in front of location and not 200 miles away. I hope people read this and pay this place a visit. much fun!

Mark Emma have an amazing Gluten Free menu. I have celiac disease, they fully understand GF and cross contamination. With all of their food being cooked from scratch in the pub they are able to advise adapt any meal I have asked for. We discovered you in the pandemic, now you can’t get rid of us!! we haven't been here for a long time. it was the evening of wales w england rugby, and the atmosphere met us as soon as we came in. we had a nice table far enough of the bar to miss the noise, but still the unleashed feeling. service was prompt.but good between the curses. the food was very well presented, well looked, good aromen and very large portions. we were very welcome. I can recommend eating here, although it is from the beaten away it is worth the trip. we will be going back

for a family dinner. eating was superb piping hot, good portions. wait service was first class, didn't have to ask for something. the price of £12:95 to £13.95 for an adult and £6:95 for a child was more expensive than a standard toby carvery, but the extra price was well paid and there was no comparison. After we had finished our meal, a man came by to ask if we had enjoyed the meal. not sure if he was the owner, but it was a nice gesture and it made them welcome. is definitely back and can highly recommend.

managed to come shortly before serving and had not had any expectations before. despite the fact that pubs were busy as Sunday morning before Valentine's Day, they were very welcoming and that eating was extraordinary. we had tried to get into two other local pubs without falling, although it was just us both, and wanted us to try the sycamore first. will definitely return. such a beautiful atmosphere, the pub and restaurant would really appeal to everyone as a wonderful old pub in beautiful colwinston, but with a relaxed atmosphere. simple parking space with good choice of dining and vegan and vegetarian options.
