Tak Bo - Carta

Have had delivered and picked up from store. Great food, great portions. Would recommend to anyone fancying decent takeout one night.

We live way outside Holywell, so we’re delighted to find that the Tak Bo delivers to your door for a small charge. The dishes always arrive piping hot with a cheerful delivery man and in the time promised. It’s good standard Chinese food and a great choice. Always good quality and no complaints whatsoever.

We try to get a dinner from Tak Bo at least once each month and we are never disappointed. The food is ready when they say it is and tasty as I say in my title: the best in Holywell! Though we just get carry away, the staff are always friendly and professional. While not cheap eats you get what you pay for and the portions are good sized. Their food keeps us coming back for more! Food order came to £45.00 and was absolutely awful. Ordered fried rice and it was boiled came, called and complained and they were adamant that it was fried. The Salt Pepper Chicken was dire. I have no comments for this, just take a look at the pictures. Literally fried, hard batter. No chicken in it whatsoever, not edible. Chicken Sweetcorn soup was tasteless. Very disappointed.

Went in friday the 20th 9.40pm asked chillie crispy beef well done, owner said all do the sauce separate. Meat didnt looked cooked no vegetables in the sauce. Chips and spring rolls over cooked. Asked for crispy won tons, got small crispy chicken pieces in bread crumbs. Portions really small my special curry tasted like gravy and the meat, god knows what it was. And to expensive there, lot cheaper in the high street

new to the area. so was interested in the take away availability. This attempt of chinese was pritty grim. Prawn Chow Mein, Noodles, bean sprouts, onion and thats about it. Tastess Zero rating. Fried rice was a soggy mush. The only redeming factors was the sample was hot, and you cannot kill a prawn cracker. Lived in china for some time, so i do know what even british chiness should take of, and it was not there.. Sorry, first and last visit. Ver carta

I put a great review on facebook as our first timers. So we ordered today. It was terrible the starters of spicy box was all put in together with chips it was so hard to divide between two of us it was extremely salty and cold chips there was no meat on the small chunks of ribs. The separate spring roll was bland looked like just bean shoots. The main course was lots of meat sliced on top of the special chow mein very chewy meat we did not enjoy and won't be returning... so disappointed

Delivery service was dire, the man on the phone was rude, my food was two hours late and after I rang for the 5th time he said the delivery driver rang me and I didnt answer. Considering I had full phone signal and there were no missed calls I find that hard to believe. Also I then got asked I if I wanted the cold food sitting in the hot box for half an hour to be redelivered... so to that my answer was no. You would at least expect them to offer to cook you it from fresh. Never again will I order from here.

Stayed at herons reach Holiday resort place a 75.00 order which was wrong ordered whole duck all the trimmings spicy box sweet and sour sauce, chips and gravy x 2 pork curry with boiled rice, special kung po Singapore fried rice. Lady on the phone even though I speak perfect English had to repeat the order 5 times and repeated all bacl to me. Order came 1 hr 40 mins later with no Singapore fried rice. When called got told I wasn't a priority I work as a delivery driver when I or the restaurant make a mistake it goes out straight away. Got told could be up to 2 hours. By a ride guy with a manc accent. Won't ever order again don't recommend ever!!!!! Ver carta
