Food is absolutely superb. This restaurant is very popular and quite small so it was a little cramped and noisy but the food more than makes up for this.

Our first impression was that this restaurant was a friendly and lively spot to grab lunch. And we were not let down. The service was superb, the food delicious, and the prices fair.

Visited this restaurant with my wife for her birthday. Very nice place, cosy and a rich selection of pizza , pasta , starters and meat. Very good service and delicious food. Highly recommended!

The meal was delightful. The portions are huge, so if you have a small appetite, you may want to skip the starters. The dishes are full of flavor. The only drawback is that the restaurant is small and the tables are close together, which can be either good or bad depending on your personal preference. I highly recommend trying the rigatoni alla Norma, it is delicious.

Visited once again for my wife's birthday, to once again be amazed by the food. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed, so quite understandable. Food as always was great best mussels I think I have ever eaten in a restaurant still plump and flavoursome and not shrivelled and dry like most I have tried in restaurants over the years. An enjoyable evening all round happy to recommend once more!

The food was poor, with most of the appetizers pre-cooked and served to your table in just a few minutes. The lamb was awful, the wine selection was lacking, and the tiramisu seemed to be made by someone who had never tasted it before. I don't understand why this restaurant has good reviews. I suggest avoiding it. We spent a lot of money on our meal and the experience felt more like a visit to a fast food joint in the mall.

We were in Sherborne for the (small) Saturday market and hadresearched the best place for lunch. Tamburino Gold lived up to its recommendations and reviews a brilliant welcome and meal. On a lovely day we were fortunate to be able to sit on the front terrace.The food was just perfect a starter each and mains (Rack of lamb and salmon salad). Service was excellent and all staff very friendly. With 2 glasses of wine, a beer and a coffee, the bill came to £81 including service charge. Excellent value for that quality of meal and experience.
