Tassilogarten - Carta

We came here twice in a week, as the food was so good! Not expensive at all! Try the daily soup, you'll find it great!

Had lunch there several time in February 2017 - never disappointed. They offer three daily menus at very reasonable prices, plus a variety of a-la-carte dishes.

Nice "modern-bavarian" style restaurant also reflected in the menu. Can be fun for a small dinner all the way to a team event. Also the nice little beergarden should be highlighted. Great place to sit and eat outside.

Casual restaurant, good for groups. Pesonally I would have preferred getting smaller portions of above-average quality, than getting large plates of very average food... If you're close to starving and not particularly picky, have a go. You won't leave hungry!

I used to eat at Tassilo on Saturday and Sunday brunches, which were excellent (especially the KaiserSchmarn). Dinner with colleagues in this local hideout was amazing too.Whether the famous Tassiloburger, the schnitzel or the desserts, all was well prepared and quickly served. We came here on our way out of town to the airport for the brunch buffet. For £18 we were able to have the buffet, choice of either a glass of orange juice or prosecco, and unbeknownst to us it also included lunch. We didn't have time to stay for the lunch buffet, but I wish we had known earlier. There was a good spread of different foods, although mainly cold (eggs, scrambed eggs, bacon, sausages, beans all warm though) and they didn't have a problem putting our large suitcase off to the side. Would definitely visit again.

I visited this restaurant with friends and colleagues a few times in Munich. It is also really nice in the summer where you can sit outside with a Helles beer while watching the football on the big screen (unfortunately on one occasion we went, Bayern Munich lost). The staff are friendly and helpful and even if your German is not very good (which was often the case with me) the menu is also printed in English and some of the staff can speak good English. The selection on the menu is pretty good with a lot of traditional German and Bavarian options, but many like to go there to try the burgers although I would also recommend the Wiener Art Schnitzel.Tassilogarten is located about 1 km from Os...

I live close to Tassilogarten and have eaten there several times. The food has always been decent and the service not so bad as to make me stay away, but today was absolutely horrific. Our group had a reservation for 9 adults and 1 child. Immediately upon entry, we were berated by the waitress for having the audacity to bring a small stroller into the restaurant (which was absurdly overcrowded). After parking the stroller outside and struggling for 10 minutes to make the table fit the highchair, wee made our way to the buffet line. I like to believe the food quality was adequate. Unfortunately, they seemed to make absolutely no effort to keep the trays filled. After waiting in line for 10-15... Ver carta
