"Have been back to the Taverna in Seebruck. One of the best, if not even the best place on Lake Chiemsee. You sit on a side street and enjoy the evening sun. In addition, the nice/attentive way of the boss as well as his staff. In the kitchen a young excellent cook won masterpieces for the palate. The card changes regularly. The head of the house bakes itself and the meat comes from the regional butcher. The wine map is rich and well balanced. Who wants to eat here should reserve in advance! We like to come back!"

Excellent food and not less bad service at a totally reasonable price in a beautiful ambience, where do you still find this today? We were there three times for dinner in July/August. There was no reason to complain, on the contrary... it is fun to be there. Let's go....

The food is for everyone, from salad to fish to meat and only pasta. Personally, I missed a Frankenwein on the map, but this is good at the discretion of the operator.

we have been regular guests in Taverna and Fam for many years. Krassnitzer, food, service, kindness, everything here deserves highest praise!! Recently we had the honour to enjoy a tasting dinner. This was not only outstanding again, but is star kitchen!!! The vote on the 7-course menu with the matching wines of the Achs winery in the Burgenland rounded everything for an unforgettable evening, thanks to all players in the Taverna. PS: the few ratings under 5 stars we cannot understand best!
