"Being a local, it's great having a dessert place nearby. The major positive is that the food is actually pretty great but the poor customer service and very stingy portion sizes take away from it's appeal. I ordered brownies with chocolate recently costing around £7, the chocolate provided was a tiny shot glass worth which wasn't enough for the brownies given. I asked whether I could get more chocolate, even offered to pay for a chocolate shot £2 more) but instead got turned away and was told if I wanted more chocolate, I'd have to buy the whole dessert again. You'd think they could spare a bit more chocolate for a customer of 2 years. I now go to Heavenly Desserts whose food is just as good and far better portion sizes. Service is far superior too."

The menu had a wide range of desserts to chose from, as well as mock tails. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly and the menu wasn't too pricey. I would go there again.

after a very long time immersed in temptations dessert on the normanton road. I ordered this waffel. it was made fresh and went like a tasty bite, really enjoyed it. I would recommend this place if they did not already try it.

My daughter suggested this charming dessert shop, and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered two crepes that were absolutely delicious. They were so large that our children couldn't finish them on their own, so we had to help out. Though we weren't initially eager to do so, after trying the first bite, we wished our kids had saved us more.

This restaurant is extremely family-friendly. My family and I go there every week for a meal and dessert, and it has quickly become our favorite place. The waffles, ice cream, and milkshakes are delicious, and the pink tea was unique in a good way. The service and management were very professional, especially our server Imran who made sure we enjoyed our desserts. We had a very pleasant visit and will definitely be coming back again.

Used to love getting a temptations but after having to wait over 2 hours for a £23 or order and when It finally arrived was handed everything at once at the door coursing me to drop one of my milkshakes all over my carpet (while the delivery driver laugh at me) and having not money taken off the bill or anything to say sorry for the long wait, or the milkshake all over my carpet. I will no long be ordering anything from here ever again and will be telling others to stay away too ..... plenty of other take aways in this city.... You should look after your customers

There are a lot of dessert places in Derby but none can compare to Temptations! Their desserts are the best in town. I frequent this place often and they always deliver delicious treats. The gelato ice creams are exceptional and the desserts are fresh and tasty. Unlike other dessert spots, they use fresh chocolate and sweet strawberries instead of sauces or sweeteners. Their egg-free cookie dough and waffles are absolutely delicious. The prices are great and even their takeout orders are fresh and warm. If you're looking for a dessert spot to visit or get takeout from, Temptations is a must-try! You won't be disappointed. My only criticism is that there isn't as much seating as there used to...

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
