"I went to Alice House today for a quick lunch stopover between meetings. I ordered the fritters (advertised as £7.50) and a pint of Diet Coke (not listed on the menu). The atmosphere was fab and the staff was friendly. When it was time to pay, I walked up to the bar and was presented with a card machine. The server didn 't read the total aloud, but I tapped because I was running late. By the time I was well down the road, my Apple Pay notification showed that the total had been £12.50. I was amazed, as I 've never had a pub in London charge more than £3 for a Coke. I called a bit later thinking there was no way that a pint of Diet Coke (from the fountain gun) was £5—they were kind on the phone, but confirmed that £4.95 was, in fact, the price. They also noted they hadn 't added the discretionary service charge (which I see others complain about). There 's another review on here complaining that they 'fleece ' people with the price of their fountain soda and a reply saying sodas are only £1. Be warned: by this, Alice House mean soda WATER is that price and not soft drinks (which are all just called 'sodas ' in the US). It 's a cute pub, and I can 't fault the servers for my mistake. That said, I wish prices were more transparent and read aloud before drinks served the machine was presented. I wouldn 't have ordered the Diet Coke had I known."

Great Sunday Roasts. Friendly staff, especially great service from the pub manager. Great choice of cocktails I’m a big fan of their house cocktail, the Old Square.

The best place for a quick drink even Thurs,or Fri!!! The team working will do the best to accommodate you and find a table for u. They are great! Cocktails are great too! Highly recommended

We love our place. The cold drink is always beautiful and refreshing. The place is very cozy and has a beautiful atmosphere. Thanks to the whole team, the crew is always polite and friendly, with a fast honest chat makes it very welcoming. My chocolate girl has always been treated as one of us.

Lovely staff. Super friendly. I liked the yellow peas hummus. Not a big fan of the celeriac and squash fritters. They were very oily and the chilli sauce needed a lot more chilli. My burger was nice, specially the chips. Super crispy. The house pickle could do with a but more vinegar or pickling time.

Had my 50th birthday in the library room, it was an amazing night with a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond to help. We had their sliders with fries for finger food which were amazing (the guest loved them). The only criticism I can give is that the speakers in the library area are not that great, not enough bass. Luckily the good vibes and music selection compensated for it.

I went to Alice on a weekday in the evening, had a glass of rose which btw was amazing nice and fruity! However there was a weird smell which I couldn't quite workout which was coming from the premises, I did however noticed 2 dogs but not sure if this had anything to do with it. Also the furniture seemed a bit worn out and not the most comfortable, could probably do with a refurbishment. In all a good location, decent service but could do with some improvements and this would give it a higher rating.

I hired the private room at Alice House on weekends to celebrate my birthday, it was fast and easy to book and safe. The room is a perfect size to keep a private party and you can decorate the room as you want, the only restriction was not confetti, but that was not a problem! At night I came with all the decorations I wanted, and was given an hour before my booking to come and set up the room with friends. You can also play your own music in the private space, I had a playlist ready and had just played it all night!
