The Badger Hounds - Carta

Only dropped in for a drink and even though they were fully booked for food, they squeezed my wife and I in and I was introduced to Chicken Parmo… amazing. Superb service, great staff, excellent chef, couldn’t ask for more.

Had Sunday lunch with sister, mum kids and dog. Amazing food. I am really fussy when it comes to Sunday lunch as a good cook myself and my mums a trained chef so this took us by surprise how good it was. Veg really nice. Beef really good and have extra gravy without asking. Yorkshires were lovely too !

My family and I booked for a Thursday night meal when we stayed locally . Three generations picked meals off the menu and specials board . The food here is as good as anything I have tasted . Ate in the dining area although the bar looked fine. Warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. Food excellent, small parmo is adequate unless you have a large appetite, I didn't know this and suffered with the parmo coma afterwards, in a good way. Good selection of real ale on tap, landlord happy to advise. Oh, and great music playing, just an added extra. Enjoyable evening.

This is a wonderful pub. Very friendly owners who really looked after us. I had the best chicken parmo ever (hot shot variety) and it was so delicious that I immediately booked for us to come back the following night. The small portion is enough and the regular is huge but I still ate it. Dog friendly seating in part of the pub. Very well presented. Popular with locals and visitors so do book in advance.

Stayed in the Village on a weeks Autumn break so used this pub on a number of occasions but only dined there on the Tuesday Pizza/Pasta night. Food was good and plentiful and reasonably priced. No issues whatsoever. Booking a table for dining in that week was essential but straightforward and our on line request received a prompt response. No hesitation in recommending The Badger Hounds for just drinks or dining. Ver carta

Awesome! Late on a Saturday evening all tables were booked so we sat in the garden with our dogs enjoying a drink. The Landlord took pity on me when I asked for a knife fork to go with my crisps, managed to get meals to us. I had the best burger ever served in the UK my wife had Mango Chicken which she is now trying to recreate in our kitchen. Lovely building gardens, brilliant staff and ultra fantastic food. I cannot wait to go back.

needed somewhere to have a Sunday Lunch as we were holidaying locally and called by on the off chance they could accommodate three adults, child and a dog. There was a sign to say 'sorry fully booked ' however upon asking is there a long shot for a table, they kindly offered us a table in the bar which was perfectly out of the way and roomy. Attentive service and a great community atmosphere, the food was excellent. Thank you team Badger Hounds!

We were staying at Seaton Hall and the gardener recommended The Badger Hounds and we were not disappointed. Six for dinner. Service, drinks and food were all excellent from starters to sweets. Definitely try the Parmo, my daughter and I had spanish which was so tasty but be warned the regular size is huge! My wife had the fish pie and could not believe how full it was. Grandaughters had great burgers and son in law the beef. We had a lovely evening in a nice pub with good atmosphere. Ver carta
